Description: This is an outdoor sandwich shop - walk-up, order window, picnic tables. For that reason it may be seasonal. It's right on the main road through town. The service was friendly and the burgers were very good. The prices were reasonable - about $15.00 for two adults with burgers, fries and drinks. The dining area was clean.

We were on holiday from Australia and Canada. Stopped at The Barn enroute from L.A. to Reno in our red Camaro convertible. Yay! Just what we wanted in a classic American hamburger joint. Great burger, loved the way the patty was placed on top of the lettuce, tomato, red onion. Still have a photo of my burger.

They do everything right here especially the fish tacos and the chimichanga (which is not on the menu). Nice outdoor seating on the highway so plenty to see! Priced right. Kick back and enoy. (Burger Barn has great burgers but was packed w/a tour group. Ack)

Okay - it's simple, it's window service and outside tables, but the food here is cooked to order and it's always yummy. And generous. My favorite is the Oaxacan steak taco. Which is really two tacos. The meat is seasoned just right and there's lots of it. My husband always gets their cheeseburger and fries--fresh cut. When a place stays... More

I drive over the Sonora Pass (HY 108) numerous times each spring, summer, and fall just to taste The Barn's Baja Fish Taco with beans and rice. Bring your appetite because these are big mamba-jambas. Give the Nachos Grande a try. They are SPECTACULAR. Great prices! This is where fire service employees, trout fishing guides, and law enforcement eat even... More

We alternate between establishments in Bridgeport to spread our business among the seasonal restaurants here. The Barn has almost always proven to be a favorite during our many trips to the area. Their Mexican food is among the best in town. Their Tacos must be nearly 1/2 lb. and tow of them is almost too much to eat. Seating is... More

My husband and I went to The Barn after reading a review and after speaking with our neighbor in the RV park. I ordered the Baja Fish Taco - YUMMY - and the largest taco I have ever seen. I also ordered a chocolate milk shake - Yummy also. My husband ordered the Nachos Grande which was very grande (large).... More

Everything the Barn offers is great. You get large portions and it is all yummy! Just be prepared to wait a bit for your food, but the wait is worth it!

I try to schedule my trips on scenic 395 so I can have a burger whenever I'm traveling thru. Can't comment on Mexican food as the burgers are too good to skip. Onion rings and fries are terrific as well. Old fashioned flavor ... that's a good thing! Closed after the first major snows. A must!

Stopped here on the way into town for the night. Thought the wait was a little long but found out there were 5 folks waiting in front of me. Appeared to be very popular. The hamburger was hot, handmade, and tasty and the fries were great. Most of the outside seating was shaded by umbrellas on the tables or the... More

The Barn is my favorite place to eat in Bridgeport. I ate there almost every day on two separate two-week visits to the area. Mostly I had burritos, which are huge, but I also enjoyed their hamburgers on a few occasions. Everything I ate there was hot and fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed their outdoor seating, where I could... More
