This is an outdoor sandwich shop - walk-up, order window, picnic tables. For that reason it may be seasonal. It's right on the main road through town. The service was friendly and the burgers were very good. The prices were reasonable - about $15.00 for two adults with burgers, fries and drinks. The dining area was clean.

better than the Bridgeport Inn

stopped a couple of times here to get a burger and fries...not super exceptional, but really pretty good..have not tried their other food. Ate dinner at the Bridgeport Inn, and it was just awful..would have been better picking up something here and taking it back to the room!

We didn't stop in Lee Vining as we headed north on 395 because we thought that there would be more options in Bridgeport. But, as we drove through town we realized that this was not the case. It was the end of the season and many shops were already closed. But, The Barn looked promising and so we stopped. We... More

After a day of driving on dirt roads exploring the area my husband and I were famished and looking for a place for a late lunch. We each ordered burgers (bacon cheeseburger and Ortega pepperjack) and an order of fries and onion rings. The burgers were fantastic, the onion rings cooked perfectly, but their fries were absolutely the best! Crispy... More

Ok, the food isn't too bad, but it is very greasy, and that made us feel guilty about eating it at all.

Started getting burgers here 20 years ago. Three day stay in Bridgeport Oct. 2015, So good Wound up getting dinner all three at the barn. Cheese burgers are fabulous, Wife got a crispy chicken wrap that made two meals. Zucchini sticks best I ever had. Everything cooked fresh, prices are very reasonable. Don't let the line stop you...moves fast and... More

Nice outdoor area to eat. Burgers are big but not especially as good as it looks. Big bread and lots of tasteless trim. Long wait. We had bacon cheese. Old dairy cow made into buger taste and bacon made up last week sometime.

We have been eating here for many years, and heard they have new management. For sure the food and service tells the story. A lot of items have been removed from there menu, I had ordered a taco, and my wife ordered a cheese burger, the meat in the taco was shredded beef, and didn't taste fresh. As for the... More

We were on holiday from Australia and Canada. Stopped at The Barn enroute from L.A. to Reno in our red Camaro convertible. Yay! Just what we wanted in a classic American hamburger joint. Great burger, loved the way the patty was placed on top of the lettuce, tomato, red onion. Still have a photo of my burger.

They do everything right here especially the fish tacos and the chimichanga (which is not on the menu). Nice outdoor seating on the highway so plenty to see! Priced right. Kick back and enoy. (Burger Barn has great burgers but was packed w/a tour group. Ack)

Okay - it's simple, it's window service and outside tables, but the food here is cooked to order and it's always yummy. And generous. My favorite is the Oaxacan steak taco. Which is really two tacos. The meat is seasoned just right and there's lots of it. My husband always gets their cheeseburger and fries--fresh cut. When a place stays... More
