We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Yosemite/Tioga Pass. The restaurant has a fresh, clean feeling to it, with an indoor section and a patio/deck area. I had their veggie omelette, which was perfect - eggs and vegetables cooked just right. I managed (barely!) to avoid their cinnamon rolls; they looked great.

This place is amazing! The cinnamon rolls are really in a class by themselves - I've never tasted better - fresh, full of cinnamon and raisins, sweet but not overly rich. Hamburgers cooked perfectly, fresh cut fries addicting. Friendly service. Very clean. Really happy to have eaten here.

Excellent food, only open for breakfast and lunch. Cinnamon rolls to die for; large selection of tasty eats.

We stopped in for breakfast and had a great meal at the Hays Street Cafe. I would highly recommend the blueberry pancakes. They were light, fluffy and buttery...everything you want in a pancake!

We had breakfast at Hays Street Cafe before we headed out of town. The service was fast and polite, the food was good and the portions were huge. We split an omelet and it was more than enough for two people. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in town.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and was not in the least bit pleasantly surprised. I have never had sweet biscuits and gravy, and don't care to ever have it again. Besides that, I found a long black hair in it. Ugh... I was done to say the least. My husband had it too, and didn't care for his. Overall... More

It looked like the only restaurant in town, but there were cars in the parking lot, so I gave it a try. Very good omlette, so-so coffee. Nice to find some good food on the road.

I was pleasantly surprised to have fresh mixed greens for my tasty Grilled Chicken Breast Salad, as many small town cafes offer just iceberg or romaine. My husband also thought his sandwich was particularly good. Service was fine, restaurant was clean. I'd recommend a stop here for lunch!

I usually eat here once to twice a month and it is away excellent. The service is great and friendly. The prices are average for Eastern Sierra and the portions are good - always have a bag to take home. It's great to have breakfast at noon. Might want to call - Monday closed winter?

We had our breakfast here after a quite night right on the other side of the street. So it is well located. Friendly staff and large and good plates. The sunny terrace is very lovely, but a little noisy because of the highway next side, but this isn t a big problem.
