Had breakfast there twice during my last trip. Both breakfasts, an omelet one morning and french toast another, where good. The place is clean, coffee was plentiful, portions were large, staff was friendly and accommodating. Place was packed both days so be prepared for a wait and not the fastest service. Prices were reasonable for it being a touristy area.... More

Absolutely lovely site and views. The food is plentiful and tastes wonderful. This is a great place for breakfast in Bridgeport. The biscuit and gravy is unique. Looking forward to our next visit in 2015!

This is just a friendly, high quality, busy breakfast and lunch place. Our breakfasts were huge and delicious with home-made hash browns and biscuits and excellent link sausage. They even have a Cinnamon Bun breakfast that was obviously a local favorite. Eating here on a crisp fall day was a delightfully memorable experience.

We stopped for lunch because the place was packed and we used that old belief "if the locals like it, it must be good." Well, most of the people there were folks like us - just passing through and not local. Regardless, this little family-owned place was cute, clean and neat as a pin. The menu was typical, but had... My husband, friend, and I stopped here for lunch and all I can say is that, it was just ok. I had a bacon cheese burger and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The burger was dry and the bacon was very fatty. the fries were home style and cooked to were it was almost burnt, not my... More

We stayed in Bridgeport for 3 nights while vacationing at Yosemite and Mono Lake. We discovered Hays Street Café our first morning and ate breakfast there every day. We tried a variety of dishes, portions were generous, and everything was very good. The service was excellent, the décor was modern and bright. We could see the Sawtooth Range of the... More

I had their cinnamon roll. My buddy the hotcakes with eggs ... we both had bacon. All was very tasty. Cinnamon roll was great! Service was excellent -- that seems to be generally true in Bridgeport. Coffee was good also.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Yosemite/Tioga Pass. The restaurant has a fresh, clean feeling to it, with an indoor section and a patio/deck area. I had their veggie omelette, which was perfect - eggs and vegetables cooked just right. I managed (barely!) to avoid their cinnamon rolls; they looked great.

This place is amazing! The cinnamon rolls are really in a class by themselves - I've never tasted better - fresh, full of cinnamon and raisins, sweet but not overly rich. Hamburgers cooked perfectly, fresh cut fries addicting. Friendly service. Very clean. Really happy to have eaten here.
