We stayed in Bridgeport for 3 nights while vacationing at Yosemite and Mono Lake. We discovered Hays Street Café our first morning and ate breakfast there every day. We tried a variety of dishes, portions were generous, and everything was very good. The service was excellent, the décor was modern and bright. We could see the Sawtooth Range of the... More

I had their cinnamon roll. My buddy the hotcakes with eggs ... we both had bacon. All was very tasty. Cinnamon roll was great! Service was excellent -- that seems to be generally true in Bridgeport. Coffee was good also.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Yosemite/Tioga Pass. The restaurant has a fresh, clean feeling to it, with an indoor section and a patio/deck area. I had their veggie omelette, which was perfect - eggs and vegetables cooked just right. I managed (barely!) to avoid their cinnamon rolls; they looked great.

This place is amazing! The cinnamon rolls are really in a class by themselves - I've never tasted better - fresh, full of cinnamon and raisins, sweet but not overly rich. Hamburgers cooked perfectly, fresh cut fries addicting. Friendly service. Very clean. Really happy to have eaten here.

We stopped in for breakfast and had a great meal at the Hays Street Cafe. I would highly recommend the blueberry pancakes. They were light, fluffy and buttery...everything you want in a pancake!

We had breakfast at Hays Street Cafe before we headed out of town. The service was fast and polite, the food was good and the portions were huge. We split an omelet and it was more than enough for two people. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in town.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and was not in the least bit pleasantly surprised. I have never had sweet biscuits and gravy, and don't care to ever have it again. Besides that, I found a long black hair in it. Ugh... I was done to say the least. My husband had it too, and didn't care for his. Overall... More

It looked like the only restaurant in town, but there were cars in the parking lot, so I gave it a try. Very good omlette, so-so coffee. Nice to find some good food on the road.
