Best Chinese Food at the Big Red Door

My family and I have eaten at this Chinese restaurant for almost 20 years! We live in Chino Hills and if I we have a craving for "good" Chinese food we come here. The front door for the restaurant is red, so you know that you have arrived at the right place. We actually never knew the name of... read more

The sizzling rice three-flavor soup is great for 2 at $6.50. My hubs had shrimp in lobster sauce and I had orange flavored chix, spicy, fried chix with broccoli. They came with steamed rice and tea. For the both of us, soup and two entrees, came to $30 and change. We had my sister in laws 75th birthday there in... More

This was not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it definitely beats any I've had in Yorba Linda, Brea, Fullerton, and Placentia. The pot stickers were pretty good; they could have used a little more ginger, but they were steamed and fried just right. The Kung Pao Chicken and the Orange Beef were both pretty good, too. I... little local Chinese greasy spoon, cheep prices, homey atmosphere, the food is fine but not special or scary.

This is truly a hidden gem. The food is amazing the prices are very fair. The portions of food are huge! It was a pleasure to have gone here and I will go again.

I have eaten at the Magic Wok since the mid-80's and it is still my favorite Chinese restaurant even though I moved out of state 15 years ago. I always make it a point to visit every time I am back in SoCal. The staff is great and the food is always excellent. Favorite dishes include the Chicken With Orange... More

I've been enjoying the Magic Wok for 25+ years...and have always enjoyed excellent food cooked fresh. My family likes the Kung Pao San Yan (chicken/beef/shrimp) and Moo Shu Pork (?). Friendly staff, reasonable prices, pleasing decor and great Chinese food...what more could you want?
