A bit pricey

Too much money for what it was. We got the full meal and you cook your meats and shrimp and chicken and after all that you get apples and caramel, and chocolate. The price is just too high.

Slow, disorganized service with food that gave no reason to come back. The décor matched the price point of the meal but the food and service were more in line with quick-casual dining. We showed up no time for our reservation but they did not seat us because they had run out of menus. Finally we got to our table... More

This was a really fun and trendy restaurant to go too. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We went for an anniversary and they kept our reservation even though we were 20 minutes late. The food was really good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The price of the food was quite expensive. I would recommend... More

Went here for an anniversary dinner. We had gotten a good deal from Living Social. The host who seated us was very nice and informative. Our waitress was not as good. It took about 10 minutes for her to come to our table the first time. And in between courses we only saw her when she was being out the... More

The Melting Pot is a fun, "special occasion" type of place to go for a date, birthday, or other event. The idea is based around dipping and/or cooking foods at your table in different fondues and/or broths. It is a very fun and social concept. Due to the price vs portion ratio, I wouldn't go here on a routine basis,... More

Quattro Formaggio Cheese Fondue is their award-winning Butterkäse and Fontina cheeses blended with roasted garlic, basil and tomato pestos and accented with fresh mozzarella and Parmesan. It is fantastic! It's my favorite cheese fondue I've tried and hope it makes it on the regular menu someday. The combination of cheeses is creamy and buttery from the Butterkase and Fontina, gooey... We came in on a Wednesday night and no one was around...not even to sit us. So we waited with two other couples who had been there for several minutes and had not seen a single employee. After a long wait, someone finally showed up. So for service, not so good as it kinda continued that way for the rest... More

Went here to celebrate a birthday. Ordered dessert and appetizers. Great service. Ask for more stuff to dip if you have leftover fondue and hey will bring more for free.

Took my family to this Melting Pot for a birthday celebration. Location is good and parking is easy. Restaurant was not busy whatsoever. First and foremost, the service was horrible. Not just bad - terrible. From the outset no real explanation of the menu - and how it works. Nevertheless, we ordered the 4 course prix fixe menu all the... More

Great location in downtown Brea. Love the ambiance of the restaurant and the creative food, however; the food is too expensive. You are able to go to a restaurant with more gourmet food and pay the same price.
