I ordered the filet mignon trio. I like the brandy sauce topping the best. The fire on the outdoor patio provided nice atmosphere. It was a nice place to visit with friends and enjoy good steak.

Taps has now been at the corner of Imperial Highway and Brea Blvd. long enough to be an institution. This restaurant does seafood wonderfully and is very well known for its Sunday jazz brunch. I have dined here with just my husband and with groups of friends for dinners and brunches. This is also a microbrewery. I am not a... More

DON'T SIT AT THE BAR DURING HAPPY HOUR! NEW STAFF IS TERRIBLE. We called ahead because we wanted to have a drink and appetizers on St. Paddy's Day prior to the dinner rush. Specifically asked if they had Guinness and were told yes - when in reality, Taps brews their own beer - so they have a Stout but certainly... More

While visiting family in the area we were told by multiple people to give Taps in Brea a shot. Aside from being located in a quaint little town like Brea, the restaurant itself was fantastic. It's a open feel restaurant that is pulled off well. Now about the important part, the food. We went for Sunday brunch. First, make sure... More

We took customers there last night. We were seated promptly and offered service immediately. We were also allowed to set the pace of service, and we're very well attended. The food was very good. The wedge salad was generous and delicious. Their signature fish, pan seared Sea Bass, was excellent. We were deep in conversation and I observed the waiter... More

The last time I ate there I had the steak and lobster, a little pricey , but food was ok. I might have gone in with great expectations , and was a little disappointed. Service was good The outside patio is fun, and well heated this time of yr.

I have never had a bad meal at Taps. The ambiance is nice and the bar area is casual and good customer service. I also like the happy hour on the patio when it is warm.

My friends and I went to TAPS last night for beer and food. Once we were there, we ordered our drinks, asked for bread, and ordered the Triple Crown. This comes with Ceviche, Calamari, and Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls. It was just the right amount of food for the three of us. The ceviche had lots of seafood in it,... More
