The best Sunday Brunch Buffet ever

I used to go to Orange Hills for a Sunday Brunch (which is not a good one) but my experience on this restaurant was the best. Their food and variety of foods are amazing. TAPS is a favorite of ours when we drive down to Brea. In fact, to go anyplace else would be deprivation. The food is unique and superb. Their oyster bar is a particular favorite; with a great selection of fresh oysters on the half shell, oysters Rockefeller, or their char-grilled oysters with parmesan. The portions are ample . . be... More

We went to brunch with the family. It is a little on the high side coming in at about 40 a piece with tip. However, great wait staff and good food. There is a good selection of stuff to pick from. Seafood, tri tip, and all the breakfast standards. Brunch comes with champagne or two if their craft beers. I... More

My husband and I loved everything, especially the lobster, filet mignon and raw oysters. We started with the New England clam chowder and New Orleans Gumbo, followed by "The Wedgie" and finished with Creme Brulee for dessert. We were with a very large party, however, our server was brilliant. No mistakes. Great humor. Charming. Efficient. He made the whole experience... More

Food was good and beer wasn't too bad.service wasn't very good from the wait staff tonight, but the bus boys were outstanding and attentive. Ask the pricing of the wines if they don't have listed - you may be surprised if you don't. Mostly happy, just the service tonight.

Went there for lunch with consultant from Georgia. Service was very good, meals and appetizers were very good. I really like the Fish & Chips, best I have had in years.

I have been living in Brea for 29 years and was there when Taps opened for business long time ago. . It's our go to place for special occasions, out if town guests and holidays. Their Mother's Day Brunch is the best! A little pricey but it's worth it!

Went here with friends just this past Saturday. Reviews looked good but went with not high expectations. Starters were ok but not great. The ahi tuna tar tare was just not good. I had the lobster bisque and the lobster had swam through it but not a piece of meat in sight.'On the other hand 3 of us ordered the... More

Best sea bass we've had, definitely recommend it. Filet mignon also excellent. Service was friendly and fast. Couldn't ask for a better meal or service. Atmosphere is casual, but suitable for nice occasion too. Energetic vibe, great food and service.

A nice birthday celebration, able to handle my difficult diet without hassle. Wait staff skilled, friendly, helpful. Dishes are pretty as well as flavorful. Drinks were fun and unusual. Full bar, house brewed beer, wine list good. Their Cioppino is excellent, way more than I could eat in one sitting though. The other people enjoyed their meals, rock fish and... More
