Reason to dine out at Tap- To Redeemed Child Meal Certificates received for achievement awards at school.

Our server provided minimal service and the kitchen chefs brought out our food which I thought was cool. Our meals were very good and the kids enjoyed their meals as well which included a dessert. The selection of several 4 oz glasses of select beers was a great selection for drinks with my meal.

Went here for a lunch with friends . I had the Lobster Bisque, which was amazing. I had the lobster roll as well. Lots of lobster on a roll, no filling in lobster. Excellent.

This place is not close to our home. But we had a gift certificate. We couldn't figure out what Taps was supposed to be. It looks like a big sports bar that has an oyster bar. The place is huge but half empty at 6:30PM on a Monday and we were asked if we had reservations....uh, no. We were seated... More

Patio dining available but beware the smokers. Cigarettes and cigars allowed. Their fresh baked sourdough is brought generously to the table. Great fine dining. Menu is selective. There aren't as many options as some other restaurants. Sunday jazz brunch offered but I've never gone. Worth the trip for the hot loaves of bread alone.

I used to go to Orange Hills for a Sunday Brunch (which is not a good one) but my experience on this restaurant was the best. Their food and variety of foods are amazing. I don't know how many oysters me and my husband ate. Ceviche, shrimp, sushi, all this different foods and also the omelets they prepared. Even beignets... More

TAPS is a favorite of ours when we drive down to Brea. In fact, to go anyplace else would be deprivation. The food is unique and superb. Their oyster bar is a particular favorite; with a great selection of fresh oysters on the half shell, oysters Rockefeller, or their char-grilled oysters with parmesan. The portions are ample . . be... More

We went to brunch with the family. It is a little on the high side coming in at about 40 a piece with tip. However, great wait staff and good food. There is a good selection of stuff to pick from. Seafood, tri tip, and all the breakfast standards. Brunch comes with champagne or two if their craft beers. I... More

My husband and I loved everything, especially the lobster, filet mignon and raw oysters. We started with the New England clam chowder and New Orleans Gumbo, followed by "The Wedgie" and finished with Creme Brulee for dessert. We were with a very large party, however, our server was brilliant. No mistakes. Great humor. Charming. Efficient. He made the whole experience... More

Food was good and beer wasn't too bad.service wasn't very good from the wait staff tonight, but the bus boys were outstanding and attentive. Ask the pricing of the wines if they don't have listed - you may be surprised if you don't. Mostly happy, just the service tonight.

Went there for lunch with consultant from Georgia. Service was very good, meals and appetizers were very good. I really like the Fish & Chips, best I have had in years.
