Since we don't have this chain on the East Coast, I thought it was a good chance to try it out. Both my husband and aunt got the soup and half sandwich. They both opted for the potato cheddar soup which they both raved about. I wasn't terribly hungry so I got the California Works mini pizza, which was pretty... More

I like the at area. It is larger than most, have a great happy hour with very good appetizers. Service is always good and they have a fire going in the fireplace that is nice at this time of year.

Lots of great choices on the menu. We had a party of 11 and everyone was happy. Reasonable prices and good service

Went here for lunch. I think they should pay more attention to cleaning. The table had to be wiped off to remove something sticky. The napkins had some type of crumbs on them. One of the chairs had to be changed because it felt like it was a little unstable. When I told a waitress about the chair she just... More

The place is known for its good food and huge portions. Our visit was no exception. What set it apart was the energy level of our server, Chris. Talk about a positive image! He was on top of everything, and each request was answered with "Certainly!" He made an otherwise good dining experience a much more positive one. (Maybe he... More

We ate here while staying at the Embassy Suites by Brea Mall. This is about a block away with easy access. I had the Chicken Pot Pie! It was huge! I'm a big eater and didn't finish it. I had a side salad with was also really good. Atmosphere is friendly and casual. Service was fast! Wife had Tortilla soup.... More

We come to this location because the one nearer to us closed down some years ago over some really pathetic lease issues. The food is still great and the portions large for the money. You can't beat their Porterhouse and their giant baked potatoes! The staff is always friendly and helpful. This particular Claim Jumper has a modern rock slate... More

The food and service were both very good and servings were generous. The booth was comfortable and big enough for six adults!

A middle of the week dinner was a complete disappointment. Was familiar with the Claim Jumper name. Was looking forward to the large salad bar, the well lit restaurant, and huge portions that were recalled from the last visit to California. No salad bar. Dark. Serving staff, which could've utilized little bit more training. Felt like I was processed rather... More

The days of the 2 1/2 hour wait at Claimjumper on a Friday night are long gone. So is the salad bar which I guess they removed so they could fit in more seating. Gone as well is their best kept secret; the off the menu 24 oz prime rib on weekends. Glad to see that they stopped tinkering with... More
