Beef rids great!

Wait to get a table is alway long. Parking always hard to find. But the beef rids and corn bread are very good and well worth the wait.

Go here only if you are really hungry! Large portions, large menu, full bar, lively, noisy, very popular. Caveat: go early with a reservation for dinner (especially on a weekend and with large parties) or you will have a long wait. My husband and I went mid-week before 5 p.m. and we're seated right away, but when we left there... More

We were so fortunate to find Lucille's today for lunch. What a treat. Loved, loved loved the biscuits and brisket. Entire place is extremely well managed. Food quality was outstanding. We are definitely returning next time we are on this area.

Ok, so the wait was long, whatever I really wanted the Tri Tip Salad! The waiter was rude, and he mumbled under his breath. How dare I even ask for the biscuits and apple butter. I was rudely told you will get that after you order, well don't get my drink order wrong and take 10 more minutes to get... More

If you like barbecue sauce then you will like this place. I, personally am not fond of it. Service was fair. Had to wait quite some time for bill. Seats sticky from prior customer. Had sausage in a sourdough bun. Bun was very hard. Sausage in pieces that fell out of bun. Messy to eat. Finally took bread off and... More

Don't let the long lines turn you off or away. The bbq quality is well worth the wait, and their service is prompt once seated.

I think it is hard to find good BBQ in So Cal.. Then there comes Lucille's, an awesome place. I had the rack of baby backs with the peanut coleslaw and watermelon. The place isn't cheap ( as all BBQ joints are ) but very much worth it.

The atmosphere here is loud, fun, and energetic. The smoker literally sits between the two main dining rooms. This place is very popular with the locals, so get there early. It is a large place, but the parking can be problematic, so unless you nail a spot right away, send someone in to put your name in while you cruise... More

Great house White Zinfandel to begin with and a scrumptious array of Southern style appetizers. We loved the hard to find Fried Green Tomatoes and Onion Ring Loaf. St. Louis Ribs were very good and the homemade biscuits were among the best this gal from Texas has ever had due to the cinnamon and cinnamon butter! Meals were so huge... More

Plenty of parking available, though Friday and Saturday nights may give you some trouble. Those nights can average an hour wait too. We went for lunch on a Thursday and were seated right away. They introduced some new burgers so I gave it a go and had the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Burger. I think my taste buds actually thanked me.... More
