when you want barbeque!

We have been going to Lucilles for years. If you like ribs the best secret is order the rib tip appetizer as your entree! You get more meat than in rib dinner for appox half the price. You have to order sides a la carte, but you know you are coming for the meat -enough to share or take home... read more

Great house White Zinfandel to begin with and a scrumptious array of Southern style appetizers. We loved the hard to find Fried Green Tomatoes and Onion Ring Loaf. St. Louis Ribs were very good and the homemade biscuits were among the best this gal from Texas has ever had due to the cinnamon and cinnamon butter! Meals were so huge... More

Plenty of parking available, though Friday and Saturday nights may give you some trouble. Those nights can average an hour wait too. We went for lunch on a Thursday and were seated right away. They introduced some new burgers so I gave it a go and had the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Burger. I think my taste buds actually thanked me.... More

I have eaten here at least a dozen times over the years. In the beginning the food was always excellent. The last few years though, the quality has become inconsistent. Inconsistency is one thing in a restaurant that I really dislike. The location is part of a large chain and the décor is kitschy "Southern" country style. As the name... More

Lucilles is known for it's BBQ of course and you can't go wrong with the ribs, pork or beef whether in a sandwich or on a plate. Their homemade biscuits with honey butter are delicious but can fill you up while you're waiting for your meal. I haven't tried their desserts but everything that is carried by the table looks... Sometimes we have to wonder how some restaurants survive while others flounder? Such is the case with Lucille's... The food is average at best, while the prices push the boundaries of excessive... Don't even start me on the inflated prices of their catering menu... Be prepared to lay down at least one hundred dollars for a dinner for a family... More

Love the food and the prices are reasonable compared to Lilli's Q in downtown Brea. The only negative is the wait time on the weekends. They need to expand this location or build a 3rd story.

You can always count on Lucille's for great cooking in a fun atmosphere! There's always a crowd, but for a good reason. Worth the wait!

No wait on a weekday at 5:30 p.m. We both decided to order the brisket sandwich as we were not that hungry. The buns are toasted with butter and/or margarine or something else. This was nice. I was expecting slices or brisket. Instead it was tiny pieces. Not that this is necessarily bad, but this is a cheaper route. You... More

The Cole slaw they call creamy is dry dry dry? What a puzzle and disappointment but other wise the food is what you expect it's ok, diffently not great. Service very slow. They sat us in the garden room which had 5 or 6 tables of 6 to 8 persons each. It was a complete shouting match. No conversation here.... More
