BOARDED UP - NOT OPEN!!

This place is boarded up as in CLOSED. Tried to visit for lunch on 6/30, but unfortunately they still have not recovered from their fire damage.

The BCBC burned down yesterday, March 29, 2015. Absolutely one of my favorites (my review is below). Bummer!! The owners are really great--community supporters as well as brewing great beers and ales. Sure hope they have insurance and the energy to rebuild. Will re-post if they reopen.

Family favorite! Soups, salads, burgers, ribs, sweet potato fries, onion rings etc are all excellent! Fried avocado and jalapeno burgers, yes if you want. Staff is accommodating for large or small groups and service is agreeable. Not a beer drinker but those that do seem to appreciate the choices. The far back room has a toy chest for the kids.

We were looking for a place to eat lunch while traveling hwy 9. They have standard fares and specialities to satisfy everyone. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very good. We will return.

This casual restaurant was a surprising find for this family. The beer is home-brewed and great, and when I couldn't decide which one to order, the server brought small glasses of several for me to try for free! (I chose the Redwood Ale, which is just fabulous.) Then on to the food--ribs were excellent; wife had the Kings Pie which... More

I live in boulder creek and I love this place. They have great food and local craft beer. The service can be spotty but the food and beer never disappoint. If you are in the area you should stop on in for a bite and nice cold beer. My favorites are the avocado fries, pesto chicken sandwich and onion rings.... More

The beers here are top notch and home brewed. There is a full bar but mostly I come for the food. They always have a range of specials and their main menu is quite good. They have had a new head chef there for a few years who has really made a difference in the quality of the food and... More

This little restaurant/cafe/brewery/bar/pub has some of the best food in a 100 mile radius. Everything is made from scratch. The soups are amazing, the Kings Pie can only be surpassed by going to Scotland, and the microbrewed beers are rich, flavorful and diverse. The people are always friendly (I have been there dozens of times) and the atmosphere is originally... More

Boulder Creek Brewery & Cafe is a brewpub and restaurant serving mostly local brews in addition to what's made in-house. It's casual and friendly and you can come as you are, which is what everyone does in this "mountain" community in ancient redwood forest, 30 minutes north of Santa Cruz. Food is standard pub fare - burgers, fried onion rings,... More

Stopped here on a hot evening in July, on a return trip to our campground. The 007 IPA was fabulous. This is coming from someone that comes from an area with some of the best IPA's in the country. (Russian River Brewery & Lagunitas to name a few.) I also enjoyed my burger with mushrooms and avocado. My only complaint... More
