Old style Italian under the redwoods

Used to live two doors down. Solid Italian food with an old school vibe. I'm pretty sure they still will do the caesar salad from the cart at your table. Traditional Italian......anywhere but Boulder Creek this would be a bit upscale. Bar is a mixed bag. One night may be locals, another all... read more

We recently dined at Scopazzi's for a family celebration. It has been a few years since our last visit. The restaurant and the menu appears to be similar if not the same since our last visit. Unique to Scopazzi's and another era is the relish tray that is served as part of some meals. Also, depending upon the entree, table... More

I had just visited Big Basin Park in the morning, and was looking for a spot for a late lunch. I checked the ratings for the area, and learned that a popular Brew Pub had recently burned down close by, so this was one of the few available choices. The inside of the restaurant didn’t looked remodeled from the early... More

This is the place you used to take parents and older relatives. It's a massive redwood restaurant in the redwoods and has had fine food, and lots of it, at reasonable prices. Now the food is not quite as good, you don't get all the original appetizer dishes, it's more expensive, but it's still worth the excursion for sentimental reasons.

Scopazzi's is excellent dining buried up in the redwoods in Boulder Creek. The Veal Picatta is outstanding, but I've never had a bad anything there.

This place is charming and has fabulous Italian food. After a wonderful meal...I had the Venison and my husband had the Prime Rib... We shared a dessert that featured chocolate on a bed of meringue on what tasted like a short bread crust. It was amazing! We were served by charming young waiters all in all a wonderful evening. Oh... More

We read good reviews and could not wait to try it ranking one of the highest rated eats in Boulder Creek. WHO still does a relish tray?! My great aunt was the last that ever made on 2 decades ago I thought. Service was nice...for upscale dining though most guests were in sweatshirts & jeans. Not worth the $ at... More

As locals, we love this place. So lucky to not only have a "fancy" restaurant right in town but such a good one too! I alternate between the duck and the scallops; hubby loves the ribeye (and the prime rib if we're there on a Saturday). Friendly service, extras, incredible atmosphere, good drinks from the bar, cozy in the winter... More

Consistently good food with great service. From Burgers to Prime rib or some of the best Gnochhi ever, I always look forward to lunch or dinner here. Nice bar with fireplace to dining room with fireplace to patio outside, this family friendly place welcomes you for a special event, date night, or a break from cooking. Amazing Caesar salad prepared... More

This is a very nice place to enjoy a dinner for a special occasion or with the family. A little pricey, but excellent selections. The spinach and Caesar salads are prepared at your table, as well as the Banana Fosters and Cherries Jubilee. Excellent service.
