Good enough Mexican food.

We dined outside porch area by the water fixture, outside but protected from the sun. Chips with salsa were good and enjoyed them. We had the sreak fajitas more than enough food in large servings. Margaritas refreshing. It was good.

This is an unusually excellent Mexican restaurant. The menu offers a large selection of food and drinks including cocktails and beer. Service is very professional and quick. The restaurant decor and ambiance is very nice. The food arrived quickly. The plates are really large platters...even the hungriest teenager will get plenty to eat here. The food was authentic Mexican and... More

While visiting a friend in San Diego we took a motorcycle ride and had lunch out there. We both had the same food. I had a raspberry Margarita. My friend was OK but I got a bad case of food POISINING. This was around 3/11/15. Highly recommend avoiding this place. They need a visit from the Health Dept.

Living in San Diego, I have access to many Mexican restaurants but I was impressed with my meal at Pablito's. My opinion was reinforced by a friend who lives in Borrego Springs and eats there frequently. There is nothing fancy about the place but then again, few Mexican restaurants are that way. I had the steak fajitas which I thought... More

Pablito's serves typical Mexican dishes for a great price. The service was fast and the food came hot to the table. A great dinner.

After a long hike, I devoured everything on my plate at Pablito's. It's standard better than average Mexican food, which was exactly what the doctor ordered after the Palm Canyon hike. The drinks were decent. Reasonably priced. Service was slow, but nice.

While starting out for breakfast at another eatery which I will review here, I listened to the locals and snow birds who raved about this place. Very relaxing patio setting featuring great cultural artwork was just the beginning of our experience. The waitress knew when to inquire and when to merely observe....Exceptional service. She recommended the lighter fare of two... More

We had not been here in about three years because of the slow service and food arriving cold and tasting just average. Sauces and re-fried beans I suspect come right out of the wholesale can. Beer is good.

We stayed at Borrego Springs Resort (which was fantastic) and visited this restaurant three times - I think - and my husband loved it. So did I as it was excellent for vegetarian choice, and I can thoroughly recommend the raspberry Margarita. Take care though, as it tastes like a very nice frozen Ribena until you stand up! Staff friendly... More
