Red Ocotillo has moved to a new spot, just off Christmas Circle - seek it out, it is a great find. Food is well prepared and fresh. Excellent Patty Melt and Veggie Sandwich on a recent Saturday.

First time I've been to their new location, closer to town. Service was good, but it did take a long time to get our order once it was placed. The food was very good. Not great, but good enough to enjoy and would go back. Love Borrego Springs, and I believe this is one of the better places to eat.... More

When staying in Anza Borrego during it's hot off season, you are limited on your dining options. After trying a couple of other places, we decided to try Red Ocotillo. This is their second location, where the French restaurant use to be. When we first entered we were welcomed nicely and sat promptly. When asked if we wanted something to... More

We were staying at Casa Del Zorro and had them drive us up to Red Ocotillo for a night out from the hotel fare. The menu was pretty basic and we ordered fish tacos and a seared ahi salad. Both were excellent - the tacos were a bit more flavorful than the fish tacos we had at Casa Del Zorro.... More

The decor is Tex Mex circa 1985, acid colors, trying to be 1950, failing with the bed bath and beyond lighting. Not that hard to find a good 1950 chandelier these days guys....! Anyway, they kept the tables and chairs from the previous owner, which was French South of France, they should have resurfaced the tables and painted the single... More

This is their new place by the Christmas circle with plenty of parking space. We always followed them in Anza as their food is really good and service is very friendly. Place is always clean and happy. we love the card game they have on evey table. As a world traveller I highly recommend the food and friendly service of... More

Great food and great service with reasonable pricing! This address is correct as they just moved and recently opened in this new location that used to be a French Restaurant. Nice atmosphere. ..just what Borrego needs! Great experience for our first try in this location. Even though the outside temperature was 100 + and there seemed to be no one... More

We really like eating outside (spring and fall). Staff lets you have a leisurely meal. The food is just average, but for Borrego Springs it's quite good.

Our young waiter was excellent. The special of the day was an excelelnt roast beef dinner. The outdoor setting is always a pleasant way to end the day.
