I stayed at the hotel for 10 days, so I had several meals here. The first meal I had was very good. I was looking forward to my next one. However, the next one – dinner - was average at best. I ate here a few more times only because of the convenience, but I never did get another meal... More

The food was dreadful. Greasy and unpalatable. Room service came with wine in a plastic cup with a top (not the worst thing ever but on top of the dreadful food a worthwhile mention). The naan bread pizza was gross and limp and the fish and chips was greasy and really inedible... I ate it anyway having hiked and had... More

Every year I try The Arches for lunch and every year I find a new menu and new servers and a new hostess and probably a new chef. Last year, as I recall, it was all about comfort food. This year it is eclectic with an emphasis on gringo Mexican. Every year the menu looks pretty good with prices that... More

While staying at the Borrego Springs Resort we had a group of 27 people go to the Arches for a banquet dinner. It was wonderful!!! Thanks to people like Chris and the entire staff everything was memorable. I would go back in a heart beat. As a matter of fact we went back for breakfast and Gloria went out of... More

Made an impromptu run from San Diego area up to Borrego Springs. Stayed at the Borrego Springs Resort (separate review) and decided to eat dinner on-property. Turned out to be a good decision. Walked in an hour before closing and asked to sit in bar/lounge. Drink order taken within 5 minutes and dinner order taken shortly thereafter. Many beer/liquor choices,... More

Horrible food and service. The guy watched TV and I had to get up to get him when I need something, including my bill.

The first night we both ordered the salmon. It was served with arugula and sweet potato. Delicious. The second night we went in there, it was all dark, we didn't think it was open. But then a waiter appeared and sat us. I had the Cuban spiced pork. Horrible! Not spicy at all, very dry. Tasted like it was old.... More

It is worth a few miles out of the down town area to sit out on the patio have some apps, a drink, maybe dinner and watch the the light change on the distant peaks, in the air and on their verdant golf course, which has fountains and abunda t bird life at dusk. The food was standard menu -... More
