Everything was fine!

We ate both breakfast and lunch at Arches during a recent golf outing. The bacon & eggs were tasty and properly cooked, and the Patty Melt I had for lunch was just as good. Service was excellent!

This was our fourth visit to Borrego Springs Resort, and we have dined and breakfasted in the Arches Restaurant on each occasion. The location is absolutely wonderful, with stunning dessert views through the arches - hence the restaurant's name. Here I would say that we are very widely travelled in the States and in Europe, so if what you read... More

The Arches is attached to the Borrego Springs Resort & Spa, a golf resort on the edge of the town of Borrego Springs. It’s one of three high-end restaurants, and it’s #2 and about 25% less expensive than the top choice (Casa del Zorro). Three of us had a very good, nicely served dinner for about $95 on a Tuesday... Every meal we had here was as close to perfect as you could expect. And it was consistently good for both breakfast and dinner.

Lets go in order, the menu isn't vast and some of the starters were not available, OK, we chose something else. I had mushrooms with dips, no dip available. My wife had houmous, very bland. While eating our starters the main meals were plonked on table before we had finished. My wife's red snapper was very salty, over cooked and... More

The restaurant serves a nice variety of food, each category offers great entries. The wine list is impressive. For lunch dinner or just join a happy hour you may find a romantic and magical atmosphere. Great service. Just take a sit and enjoy life!

The description promised something with a southwestern or desert flair, but the menu did not deliver. It had the standard steak, prime rib, seafood offerings. There were some creative appetizers like portabello fries, and one southwestern vegetarian dish -- quinoa-stuffed chile relleno. The menu also didn't feature some of the lighter fare that one would expect of a restaurant co-located... More

Went here after bad experience at Del Zorro. Ambiance not as nice, food so so, good pianist. Pleasant waitstaff.

The dining room is very inviting. Linen tablecloths but casual attire. The fried chicken was a bit over breaded and was 1small leg a part of a back and another small piece, mashed potatoes and Gravey and green beans. The others ordered the bbq pork ribs. There were 4 ribs and sides, another had the fish and chips which was... More

It seems like the reviews, good and not so good, depend on when you happen to be here. I stayed at the Resort over the holidays, had several lunches and dinners at The Arches, and enjoyed every one of them. The service was excellent, and the views out the windows towards the mountains is superb. From what I could tell,... More
