I hope this is Andersons market as there you can get great value sandwisches, one of my favourite stops at lunch time or on my way to work in the evening.

Driving east to Sacramento coming home from Mendocino my wife and I were looking for a hearty breakfast. This place was just what we needed. The omelets were delicious and plentiful. Good home cooking by a friendly staff in a comfortable and easy accessible establishment right off the road. We'd go back if driving by.

Breakfast was very good - tasty and fresh. Like the rest of Anderson Valley, service was friendly. It isn't cheap though - $11+ for a breakfast sandwich.

So as you'll see my criticism of this place is pretty one note. It's pretty, they seem to use nice ingredients and I'm sure many of the items they offer are tasty. However I had one big issue. Now I don't expect the world to eliminate cilantro just because I hate it and I know there are items, like say... More

We stopped in on the advice from friends on our way home from Albion. We were told that the sandwiches made there were delicious and they were! They have a nice selection of hard rolls and sliced bread to choose from. I loved that they had about 10-12 items that you could select from to put on your sandwich, not... More

My husband had an organic turkey wrap with spicy mendocino mustard and I enjoyed a spring greens with beats and local blue cheese salad. It was the perfect low key spot to grab a quick lunch. The cookie we had for dessert was excellent.

There's not a lot of places to get lunch (and fewer for breakfast) in the Boonville/Philo area off 128. We discovered the Boonville General Store by accident and had a very good lunch as a result. Their sandwiches are huge so, unless you're starving, we'd suggest sharing.

Tasty sandwiches made with local organic ingredients in a rustic building. They have deli items and serve breakfast too.

Quite honestly I have no idea what the rest of the town offers, I was just out on a day drive ....came across this place in time for lunch. The inside was comfortable and interesting. A select collection of cheeses and meats. Ask, they will make you pretty much whatever you can describe [sandwich].

Boonville has become a mini-foodie destination for some and a pass-through to Mendocino for most. Either way, plan on having lunch, or grabbing a to-go wine tasting snack at the Boonville General Store. HUGE sandwiches are homemade thick fresh bread, with lots of fillings and toppings. I had a great lamb 'purse' of flaky pastry' filled with well seasoned ground... More
