I really enjoy coming here – the Ox has an inviting pub atmosphere with great views of the surrounding hills. It’s a comfortable place for food, drink and relaxation whether you’re a local or just traveling through. The friendly staff and patrons keep things exciting with a variety of theme nights and activities – I especially like Thursday night Trivia.... more

Loved the Highpockety Ox - we spent a weekend in the Anderson Valley and stopped for lunch at The Highpockety Ox. What looks like a bar from the outside (& even once you enter), opens to a bright friendly dining room in the back. Great staff, friendly service - highly recommanded! more

We had the good fortune of passing through Boonville on the way to Mendocino on Saturday Sept 23rd. There was a band called "Wild Oats" performing in the beer garden, around a little firepit.
