We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here. The food was great, every dish something special, and it is highly recommended. However, when we were there the meal was price fixed and there was one entree on the menu; yes, one, and it was beef. They accommodated the two vegetarians in our party, and my wife, who does not... The pork chops were to die for but the popcorn with spice was the perfect way to start. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, the grilled chops were done to perfection.

A friend and I dined here while staying at the Boonville Hotel. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was outstanding. I love the "bottles for $30" wine list. Mark assisted us on selecting a great bottle of wine. We sat outside in the sunshine and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for dinner on Sunday evening and were welcomed to select a table for two on the picturesque patio. Idyllic setting being enjoyed by several parties of various sizes at tables inside and out while others were just enjoying wine in the garden. Superb service and attention from waitress, sommelier and owner made us feel so welcomed. I chose... More

We had an excellent dining experience at this attractive restaurant in the center of Boonville. The attentive service was highlighted by the local winemaker sommelier who helped us pick out an excellent local Pinot Noir. He even offered to take it back after my initial reaction was a bit ambivalent. (the style was a bit different than I was expecting,... More

I love Laurens restaurant but comparing it to Table 128 is comparing apples to oranges. Table 128 is a upscale, more sophisticated, type of restaurant in every way. So while I would say Laurels is perhaps number 2 in the area with an inviting casual atmosphere, Table 128 is definitely number one. Make a reservation and be aware of the... More

Mendocino's Anderson Valley has several good places to eat. Table 128 is not one of them. Why would anyone would spend $170 for a dinner for two for diffident, slow service and uninspired food when there are solid alternatives like Lauren's across the street or Coq Au Vin north of Philo, where you can get twice the meal for half... The food is local, fresh, and family style. The staff is awesome and fun, and really makes you feel at home. Sitting around the fire pit after dinner is a must! I cannot wait to go back!

We enjoyed our prix fixe dinner at this restaurant. The menu changes daily. What was on tap for last night was: gazpacho, rib-eye steak with butter beans and kale, and pecan pie with ice-cream. Everything tasted good. The wine menu is extensive with a variety of non-alcholic drinks offered. The setting is casual--with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Definitely make a rez for this spot if you are in the area if this suits you, it's not for everyone! Check their website for what they are serving that week - they serve a set meal each night, no choices and it is a set price. They use lots of wonderful local ingredients and intersting combos. So if you... More
