Great lunch on a sunny day

Stopped for lunch here yesterday with a friend who was touring me (a newbie to California) around the area. She had the fish tacos and I had the grilled fresh fish, which turned out to be ahi. My friend said her tacos were great and I loved my ahi. I also loved the basmati rice pilaf and the... read more

If you're passing through the area, this restaurant is worth the brief detour off CA1; besides, you might see deer in the fields on the way. Very funky little town, very funky little restaurant; btw the rest rooms are outside through the door at the back right of the dining area. Good local seafood and an interesting wine list, including... More

We stumbled upon this small cafe on our way up the coast and had the best breakfast/brunch. The food tasted fresh and the atmosphere was very inviting. Our waitress even gave us excellent advice about where to stop of fuel. Definitely highly recommended.

after checking out the menus at the stinson beach restaurants and coast cafe in bolinas, we opted for coast cafe. (esp since our dinner last night here in stinson beach was so lousy). we should've stayed close and maybe picked up something at the market!! we were there when they opened the door at 5pm and were the first two... Nice little restaurant with very average food. Nice people who seem to be completely overwhelmed when busy, they really need a good manager. Good steamed clams but poor Linguini and clam sauce (never add cheese)Ribs cooked very well but somewhat bland.

A casual restaurant where we had a nice relaxing vacation breakfast. Regular fare, which is just fine - one doesn't always need to have a spectacularly wonderful dining experience all the time. Cosy, regular but tasty and hearty food and a nice customer friendly experience does the job as well. This was one such place and we had a leisurely... More

This is a neat little restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It gets quit busy at dinner, so consider making reservations. They have an organic wine list and fresh catch of the day. They only have one listed vegetarian entrée on the menu and it, veggie burger, is quite good.

Of the few places to eat in Bolinas this must be one of the best. It was a very low-key atmosphere and there was music the evening that we went. Decent selection on the menu, not too few, not too many choices. The food was good and nicely presented. I had the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes (thumbs up for... More

A man next to us was consuming what looked to be an interesting waffle. With great relish he said "yes you must get this!" He was enjoying the homemade waffle with bacon and blueberries infused inside the waffle but I didn't add the glass of chardonnay too (since it was 11am). Here's a photo though because it was one of... More

My sister and I shared the halibut fish and chips and my niece had the halibut special, which was a bit pricey, but worth it for fresh halibut with delicious seasoning. The one order of fish and chips was plenty for both of us with a taste or two of the special. Good, friendly service!
