This is the restaurant that was worth the trip. We recently went there and had an exceptional meal with two friends. The locally sourced food was about as good as it gets. The steak, the duck breast and the seafood were perfectly prepared. The wine list was excellent; andthe advice we got on which ones to choose was also outstanding....

Our annual stay in Bodega Bay was once again highlighted with dinner at Terrapin Creek. The owners and staff are the absolute best. The quality and freshness of the food is amazing. Nice wine list, too!! The owner even greeted us with a "How are things in Atlanta". We have eaten all over Sonoma and this place remains our favorite! Try...

This little place has a charcter all its own. It is a wonderful find for this area, and is well worth trying there food. All is expertly prepared and service is above par. Prices are resonable for the quality that you recieve.
The locals even think that this is the best restaurant in town. I had the fish stew and my husband had the crab cakes - both dishes were delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. It is tiny and parking is limited, so you may want to come at an off hour like we did (around 2ish for lunch.)
Today we again returned to this delightful cafe. I had the fish stew, a delightful broth flavored with saffron, tender bits of fish, scallop and clams. we will return. Also be sure to visit the art gallery in the same building. The art is refreshing and a delightful person there to welcome.
Off the beaten path, but well worth the effort if you are looking for a great meal chosen from an inventive menu, great hosts, and a relaxed and informal setting. The appetizers set the tone. Oysters, roasted beet salad, the absolute best mushroom soup ever, and dungeness crab cake were all prepared and presently perfectly, and all were delicious. But...
