On a recent rainy Sunday afternoon we were driving toward Mendocino from Occidental. We stopped at a little art gallery to nose around and asked the artist who was gallery sitting where would be a good place for lunch. "If you like good soup you should try next door" was her reply. Since it was certainly a soup-type day, we... More

We are locals and have been happily patronizing Terrapin Creek from the first weeks of its opening. Trip after trip this jewel offers delicious local cuisine with originality in flavors and presentation. Unlike many other high end restaurants in the Wine Country this one is not "over the top"...meaning that, rather than being unique for its own sake without regard... More

TC had been on our list since it received its first Michelin star, and we weren't disappointed. We had no problem getting a table at lunch, when reservations are not an option. Our meals were superb, right up there with our favorites in San Francisco--but more reasonably priced. Service was excellent, atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Can't wait to go... More

We would never have found this place without Tripadvisor! This is a truly fine restaurant. Great food, excellent service, all well presented in an elegant atmosphere. The fireplace makes the place cozy even on a foggy night. The two of us had a three course dinner and a nice bottle of wine, all for just over $150. Expensive? Well, you... More

Location seems like you are in a tiny shopping center, but once inside it gets better and better. We sat next to the fireplace, and the food was an absolute treat. The engaging and knowledgable staff was great. Really worth the trip from anywhere in the area!

Awesome food, good service and great atmosphere! We chose this place because of the ratings on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. If we are ever in the area again we will come back.

Needed late lunch spot here in Bodega Bay after seeing the Harbor Seals at Goat Rock Beach. This was #1 on the list and we now know why! Great food and service. Had the Bean and Sausage stew and Crab Cake salad to share-both were great...would have the same again. Look no further for good food.

My husband proposed dinner in an obscure place just off the beaten track in Bodega Bay. Ok. Sure. It's just down the road from the salt water taffy shop which has been there since The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner was penned. (There is a timelessness about some of these Bodega Bay establishments. Local flavor. Fun and funky. ) I... More

The food was phenomenal. The service was fantastic. From the outside it looks like a little cafe. Don't be fooled. The owners were lovely. Highly recommend.

Cute little place, limited seating, so reservations are strongly recommended. We happened to show up early and were able to get seated about 40 minutes prior to our original reservation. I had oysters on the half shell for an app., and we shared the Chanterelle/Asian Pear salad. Delicious! The entrees ordered were the Braised Lamb Shank and the Pappardelle Pasta... More
