Exceptional food

Surprised to find such warm ambience inside the restaurant in a small place. Had exceptional Seabass with tint of suffron tomato sauce that gave it a delicate kick. Highly recommended. Just received Michelin 2015!

I don't know what to say, my husband had the hamachi crudo which were ok, he wasn't overly satisfied and felt like something was missing in the flavor department, I had the charred octopus salad which I enjoyed, the octopus was tender and it had a lot of flavor. My main course was a total flop I had the sea... More

My husband took me up North for a romantic Valentine's weekend. This place was highly recommended by friends who are local. We sat near the fireplace on a foggy evening and ordered several small plates so we could taste more of the menu. The Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup was a beautiful way to start the meal. Every dish was... More

My wife, daughter and I had dinner in that restaurant on Saturday May 2nd. The restaurant insists that reservations be made online (by phone only the same day). We had tried to make a reservation online multiple times, but not succeeded (the online system just turns down your reservation request, does not suggest a different time that would be available).... Another great experience at Terrapin Creek! We visit every April and always leave smiling. Every aspect of the meal last night exceeded expectations, food, service, wine, etc. The place gets better each time we visit!

This is a really good local restaurant with a casual and friendly feel. The decor and open kitchen lend the cafe feel, but the food and drink are excellent. We had fresh local fish and were not disappointed. The service was professional and attentive without being obtrusive. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.

We did our research before visiting Bodega Bay yet I hesitated making reservations here until the Innkeeper at our B&B recommended that we have dinner at Terrapin Creek. The restaurant is totally unpretentious, situated in a little strip mall off the main road. There are 2 doors and I wonder if they intended for the one which is right beside... More

My husband and I were anticipating the wonderful experience we were going to have a a mIchelin rated restaurant when we arrived at Terrapin Creek Cafe. The food was good, although not on our top ten, and the restaurant was very noisy, not the intimate or easy to talk-in place we wanted to share a special meal.

This restaurant is one of the best place, I've ever been, here, in northern California .....after Portobello Italian restaurant, in Disney World Downtown. I am pretty sure, there are more than one but I did not find them yet! The place is warm and inviting; the service is excellent; impeccable silverware ...and the food is amazing!

My wife and I were in Bodega Bay again and stumbled upon a Michelin rated restaurant. It is a one star facility, which may not seem like a lot to the uninitiated, but it just and excellent restaurant. We order the scallops as an appetizer because we were advised that this was one of their best dishes--so very true. I... More
