Good food in a lovely setting.

We had breakfast here while staying at the hotel. It's such an attractive dining room, with lavish use of wood and stone, picture windows overlooking the bay, and a big fireplace. Attentive and friendly service, and a good selection of typical breakfast fare. My omelet, potatoes, and whole-wheat toast were delicious, as were my husband's Eggs Benedict. It's a quiet... More

We ate breakfast and dinner with both meals being very good. It nice to be able to have great food and wine while staying at the lodge. We had pan seared scallops that were very good. My daughter had the steak dinner that she shared with us and it was awesome. The presentation and food quality was top notch. The... More

We had an amazing server...she was upbeat, positive and friendly. This always sets the tone for the evening. She started us out by opening our wines from home cellars. From the menu I loved my Butter leaf salad with pears and Pt Reyes Blue cheese. The cheese is excellent and local. One of us ordered oysters, I did not taste... More

Had another great meal at the Duck Club on New Year's Eve. We have eaten here many, many times - both as a couple for a nice romantic meal in a relaxed atmosphere; as well as with a large group of friends. Love that it is in the Bodega Bay Lodge community walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff always! Also... More

The Duck Club has certainly done a great job in making itself a,special dining destination. Now with a locally sourced and organic menu, the meals are consistently delicious and imaginative. The service was attentive and the wine list had many offerings. The room was full but we were able to have a conversation. We were happily surprised and will happily... More

My wife and I had Nee Year's Eve dinner at the Duck Club. It was excellent, as I rated it. Considering we ate in their last seating of the evening and the place was packed the service was very good and the food as expected for the price. Expensive, but worth it.

We were the first to arrive at opening time for dinner, and started out by being served a glass of white wine from a bottle which was almost empty. Obviously it had been held over from either lunch or perhaps the day before. It was bad, and we had to send it back. For the price of our dinners, this... More

Beautiful location on the coast with great views. Restaurant itself also was a very comfortable, country setting. Menu was good to very good. Wine service was average

There was nothing wrong, but not really exceptional either. We enjoyed the meal and had good service, just did not blow us away.
