We drove over to Bodega Bay today, just to get out of the house while work was being done on our kitchen. As always, the drive to the Coast was very pleasant. We planned to have lunch in Bodega Bay, but didn't really have a restaurant in mind. We often go to the Tides, but made a quick U-Turn when... More

We have been enjoying the clam chowder at Lucas for years. We just ate there and ordered the clam chowder to find it was still the same excellent chowder ! We also had a shrimp louie salad which was good. The french bread was super. It was a beautiful day at Bodega Bay so we got to eat on the... More

Wonderful food, perfectly cooked and professionally presented. The waiter was personable, pleasant and knowledgeable. Wine by the glass was limited, but the wine by the bottle was reasonably priced and offered a nice selection.

This restaurant sits on a wharf so you can watch fishermen unloading their boats, seagulls and pelicans swooping in to get a treat and there were seals frolicking in the water and fighting the seagulls for the treats the fishermen toss overboard. We were thoroughly entertained while having lunch! We each had a shrimp louis, which was excellent, and the... More

Lunch outside on the wharf was really nice here, seals in the harbour making their presence known added to the great setting here. We had great fish sandwiches and chowders, delicious, service excellent. Large choice of fish, something to suit everyone.

Not many choices of restaurants in Bodega Bay. Had their specialty, Fisherman's Stew, which was very similar to chippino. I would say it was better than fair, but not great. However, it was plentiful. Served with good garlic bread. There were a lot of prawns but no crab. Can't remember the price, but it was close to $30, I believe.

My daughter had the assorted fried foods (scallops, oyster, prawn, and more) and it was all overcooked and cold. I had the prawns and scallops in a lemon butter sauce. The sauce was an unappetizing gray color but thankfully tasted better than it looked. The prawns and scallops were cooked correctly but...........it just was disappointing.

We stopped here intending the eat dinner, but after seeing the menu decided on bowls of chowder (average). The service was just OK and we were never offered more bread. There are far better fish places along the coast, but Bodega Bay seems to have pricey places with mediocre food.

While visiting our daughter in Marin County, we took a ride to Bodega Bay. We stopped at the first restaurant we saw coming into Bodega Bay and were we glad we did. The sea food was above reproach. I had a Fisherman's Stew and my husband had a rock fish fillet served over polenta. Cannot say enough about the taste... More

We arrived in Bodega Bay and went to Lucas Wharf for lunch. The outside patio was nice. My Husband and I had the Fish and Chips which were yummy. I would go back to this place again.
