The Tides is located right on the bay with ample tables looking over the water. My Pasta Primavera was very warm but lacked substantial vegetables. More like slices than chunks of vegetables. Downgrade. The dark draft beer was tasty, however the server couldn't pronounce the name. He said it was... read more

We came here with a group of people. It was highly recommended to us. We were seated immediately and the waiter came with drinks. Water followed. We ordered and were told we could have separate checks which was very important to all of us. The bread came and was rather hard. Did not seem fresh. We ordered and lots of... More

Our breakfast here was awful. The omelette was dry and the hash browns were like cardboard (they seemed like they were popped in a microwave right out of a frozen package).

We didn't feel like having a full meal in the restaurant itself but wanted to make a shrimp cocktail back at our RV so went to the fish market at Tides Wharf & Restaurant to buy the shrimp, dipping sauce and some French rolls.. You can bet the fish in the large market cases were fresh and well presented. As... More

My wife and I stopped here this past Wednesday, for lunch, as we were driving the cost. As soon as I walked in, I got the eerie feeling that this was one of those seafood restaurants that gets by on their location, history, proximity to fresh fish, or any combination of the three. The decor is dated and seeing (what... More

Our table was by the window over looking the bay. We had breakfast and it was wonderful. Everything was prepared perfectly and the server was very friendly.

We enjoyed breakfast here a couple of mornings. The food was good, and we enjoyed a wonderful view of the bay while waiting for our food.

Our group of 8 stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We sat outside and although it was a tad cool, the atmosphere was excellent. The service was exceptional, the appetizers excellent, and the drinks hit the spot.

Went for early evening supper. Prompt service, but found the menu rather confusing as the entrees came with salad so we need not have ordered another. Feel this could have been explained by our waiter, as we were visiting from England and and did not know "how things worked". Delicious meal, but for us, portions way too large! (and we... More
