Had lunch here and everything was great and the chowder had a nice kick to it. The only make crab cakes on Saturday and we share a plate of 2, a crab meat cocktail and a large bowl of chowder. Good as advertised!

We started our Hwy 1 road trip in Bodega Bay, and had read about Spud Points Clam Chowder , so we tried it out...It did not disappoint ! The chowder is rich, creamy, & full of clams and other ingredients ...we ALL agreed it was some of the best clam chowder we have ever eaten. We also had the seafood... More

We enjoyed this rustic little resturaunt. The clam Chowder was great. The location is right off the road in the harbor and a line is formed to get your order.

The kind of place that sells gourmet food out of one side and fishing lures out of the other, Fisherman's cove, is exactly the kind of unpretentious spot that I search for. They had the best clam chowder we've had and 15,000 miles and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. One of the best places I've ever eaten, and I've... More

Bodega Bay is a little bit off the beaten path, and the Spud Point Crab company is even further from the typical tourist traps, but it's definitely worth going a little bit out of your way. Their menu is pretty simple, but they do the things that they offer very well. We tried both the red and the white clam... More

We lucked out finding a parking place. We bought a crab sandwich to share and two bowls of clam chowder. It was really too much food for two, but oh so good!! We took it up to Bodega Head and ate at a picnic table. Now I want to learn how to make clam chowder this good.

We went on a weekday and are glad we did! There is outside seating, but not much and parking was a challenge, but the food was all it was cracked up to be. We both enjoyed the clam chowder, which says something as clam chowder is NOT a favorite of mine. The crab sandwiches are simply delightful.

Just go. The food is fresh, fresh, fresh, and the service is quick and friendly. The crab sandwich is very simple, allowing the amazing crabmeat to be the star. It's just bread, their special (yummy) sauce, and big chunks of delicious crabmeat. It's not too big or messy, but just right. Go get one!

We ate there last week and had a thoroughly enjoyable late lunch. I believe we all had the crab sandwich, which was piled high with fresh dungeness crab on a hoagie roll. I was a bit disappointed that crab cakes weren't on the menu that day (Monday) as they're only available two days a week (not on Monday). I'm not... More

We visit Bodega Bay just for a visit here . . . nothing beats their clam chowder! My husband has tried the crab sandwich and crab cakes, he enjoyed them but it doesn't come close to topping their chowder! It is a bit on the expensive side, we spent over $73 for 8 servings of chowder and crab cakes (couldn't... More
