Fun, food and view

We were a party of six. The weather was beautiful the day we were here. Some of us had clam chowder, it was delicious. Some had the crab sandwich, lump crab on a soft roll, couldn't get much better than that. There was a guitarist that day, playing soft music in the background, nice touch. Out door... read more

The clam chowder, for which they are very famous, deserves 4 stars cause it had too much garlic taste. The shrimp sandwich deserves 1 star. No flavor. Very limited menu since they really specialize in chowder. Our friends liked the crab sandwich. Nice picnic tables outside. Pleasant service. Spud Point is right next door to Fisherman's Cove.

One of the little places tucked away at bodega harbor. Tourists flock here for fresh crab, oysters and seafood. If you can wait in line long enough, Its worth the wait. Bon Appetite !

The chowder we were told wins every contest so we got our RV friends to all meet there for lunch. Everyone ordered the chowder but me because I was hearing people saying there were big hunks of raw garlic in it and it was overpowering. I did have a few bites and thought there was a terrific blend of flavors-... More

We were looking for a nice place to have lunch, and we wanted something that was on the water and different. We found Spud Point on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out. We ordered the clam chowder (highly acclaimed) and the shrimp and crab sandwich. Clam chowder was really good, not the best I've ever had, but really... More

This isn't exactly a restaurant, no inside tables just a counter to take orders. Outside picnic tables provide seating. They are famous for their chowder and deservedly so. It's thick, rich, creamy and seasoned with what tasted like sage, interesting addition. The clams are finely chopped and there are just enough, but not too many potatoes. Loved it. Two ladies... Had absolutely the best ever clam chower and Crab sandwich for lunch! the creamy chower was full of chunks of fresh seafood, and the crab was extremely fresh and tasty on crispy hot bun. You buy in the small shop and eat at the picnic table in front. Mind you, no parking spots. Sooo tempted to go back for breakfast... More

Perfect crab sandwich that was all crab. It could not have been better! The place is small with picnic tables outside. Everything is very well organized. The order takers are most plesant and helpful. If you love crab, this is your place. Ps: the crab comes off the boats right across the street from the restaurant- how is that for... More

Tiny place but all the rave reviews are justified. We had the crab sandwich and the crab and shrimp sandwich. Delicious rolls - not too bready with a little crispness and full of crab and shrimp without a bunch of fillers. Delicious. We took clam chowder home for dinner. Also excellent with very nice seasoning. Worth a journey.
