Found this place on TripAdvisor. Decided to give a call try and it was great. Service was great and food was like homemade. Bacon was huge thick sliced.

Stopped in off the highway on a road trip. It was a Sunday so it was hoppin. This is a blast from the past. The old time swivel seats at the counter, the lime green and flowered wallpaper in the bathroom, the booths with duct tape on the seats all original. This place needs lots of work but this place... This place has been in business for at least 50 years that we know of. It is a good place to stop in for a good breakfast. large portions at a reasonable price; simple & honest food. Service is slower than Mickey-D's, but friendlier. The only complaint is that the coffee is a little weak. The restaurant has been in... More

Had dinner at the restaurant one evening. The dining area is small and intimate. The food was good and a good value for the price. The menu is limited but adequate . The staff was courteous and professional.

The worst tuna melt sandwich we have ever had in a restaurant. We ordered it on Good Friday. We both had the same order. The tuna was of poor quality. It barely was enough to cover one piece of bread, which was moist and awful. The cheese was poor quality. My wife had the fries which were ok.

Well, we don't stop here for the decor, let's get that out of the way. This place is old and dated and reminds me a lot of what a Route 66 50's style cafe might look like if it hadn't been maintained in all that time. Some TLC is definitely in order, The entrance hasn't been cleaned or repaired in... More

Stopped here while on a road trip. In its hay day the place must have been a gem with its great mid century modern architecture. Unfortunately that was the last time they made any updates to the place. If you go...don't go to the bathrooms unless you like dirty stalls and want to catch up on 45 years of lude... More

First impression was old dated restaurant but it turned out to be a good experience. The food was really good and tasted like it was homemade. Biscuits and gravy, French toast, omelettes, it was all good. A little pricey but I would recommend this restaurant for a good sit down breakfast.

It is what it is. If you are in the area it is definitely one of your better choices. The food is average but definitely acceptable and the service is quite good. Their prices are fair.

I've eaten here many times in the past 5 years - the cafe is an old vintage one, from the 50's, and has not been remodeled so it retains the old feel with lots of chrome trim and glass. The staff is very good, and they never let's your coffee cup go empty, which speaks to their service, which is... More
