Friendly staff and good food

Busy, licensed restaurant. More upmarket than most places in Blythe. Burgers good. Worth the drive from the Best Western Desert Oasis.

First off, I arrived @ 10:55 and was promply informed that they did not open until 11:00. Then don't unlock the door? Then I asked if there was any way that my date and I could get a private booth and was told "no" that side of the restaurant only open for dinner. My boyfriend and I often have to... More

Not impressed. Grimy, mediocre food, indifferent staf and noisy but not sure there's a better option.

Keeping it simple but serving a wonderful lunch menu. Still serves silverware with cotton napkins too. Staff very accommodating they never say NO to any reasonable requests. Bar dining area open for mid day treats. Salads always with crisp and fresh with out old stale croutons. Had fresh perfectly grill chicken breast on a toasted bun dressed with a couple... More

If you're on the road west from Phoenix on I-10 stop here for a bite. The menu is tight but varied and it truly is a bar & grill. Numerous TV sets will occupy your time and the food was much better than expected. Service was great and attentive. A real gem of a place. You won't be disappointed.

On our way to Palm Springs we checked TripAdvisor for a good lunch in Blythe. As promised, this place fit the bill. Tasty enchiladas, nicely spicy mahimahi platter. Speedy gracious service. Reasonable prices. Family friendly, clean, easy access to highway. Menu includes pizza, pasta, burgers, Mexican dishes, salads, wraps. Just exactly what you want on your journey.

Many times we have driven from Phoenix to L.A. and stopped in Blythe for lunch. This time we stopped for dinner. Having had not the greatest luck in finding little gems in Blythe, we found one this time. The Red Cactus was our choice based on the reviews. Score one for the reviews. We are fairly light eaters so instead... More

We utilized this restaurant for a corporate lunch. We were really just looking for a place on a drive that was about halfway from point A to point B. The restaurant didn't look like much from the outside but when we got inside we were pleasantly surprised. It was very modern, super-clean and the staff was unbelievably friendly. The televisions... Stopped here on way back from Scottsdale to watch the Packers get spanked by Seattle. Food was somewhat limited. Chicken & mashed potato & vegetable plate was very good. I had the lemon chicken sandwich which didn't impress me. The chicken was like a rubber ball between 2 pieces of grilled bread. The cook should have pounded the chicken into... More

We were there during the Bluegrass Festival, and this restaurant was really crowded, and didn't have enough staff. We ate in the bar, which was a mistake - the noise level was so high we couldn't talk. On the other hand, the food was quite good, and I would try it again on a less busy day.
