Pretty good

The service is fantastic, the margaritas are great, the prices are right, the food is average, I love the salsa. Convenient location.

I had the No. 20. Was happy to hear the trademark words of a good Mexican restaurant when the food was served.. "this plate is VERY hot". Everything on this plate was good. Enchilada, taco, tostada, rice and beans. Lots of veggies, sour cream and guac for adding in. Tea was very good... fresh brewed. Chips and salsa were good... More

While at an RV convention in Quartzite, AZ, and staying in Blythe, California, we stopped at a Mexican restaurant and asked server for Margarita. Was told they did not have liquor license, HOWEVAH, a short drive was place with great Margaritas. La Casita Dos. The server was correct. A bit off the main street, the little restaurant is old and... More

The people from Texas who complain that this is not authentic "Tex-Mex" food should educate themselves. This is NOT Texas (thank goodness!) Most Mexican restaurants in Arizona and Southern California serve Sonora style or Baja style Mexican food, not Chihuahua style like they do in Texas. We like to preserve our taste buds, not burn them off with super hot... More

The clerk at our hotel recommended this restaurant. It appeared to be a family operation. The food was authentic Mexican but lacked great flavor. The salsa was good but the chips were stale. The enchiladas had a sauce with too much chili powder. The taco was very dull. The refried beans were surprisingly good. The service was slow and poor.... More

The tasteless salsa and stale chips should have been the giveaway, but we stayed for dinner. I have never had such tasteless Mexican food. I'm sure the tamales were straight out of a can and the tamale sauce was heavy on chili powder. Everything else was just plain dull!

Definitely go to this place if you like feeling ignored by your server and treated like you're invisible. It would have been nice to have had a good experience on my mother's 60th birthday, but you can't always have that. Were on the road back from Tucson to California. We were informed to sit anywhere, so we chose a booth... More

Blythe, CA is about half way between Phoenix and Los Angeles and a nice spot to use as a rest stop and have lunch. We choose La Casita Dos and found the food to be good, Sonora Mexican food. The machaca burro was tasty without being overly spicey. The refried beans weren't soup; there were actual beans, rather than a... More

Very average food and bland seasoning on chicken taquitas. Beans were the best thing about the meal. Guacamole not bad

Good Mexican food right off the I-10 in Blythe. Beef and carne asada tacos were pretty good. The machaca enchilada was particularly good. The salsa could have been better. We would give it somewhere between three and four stars. Service was excellent - food came quick and our server was helpful and nice. It won't compare with some of the... More
