Stuck in the midst of the food chain outlets: McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc. The Rebel BBQ sign was a beacon calling to us, "Stop, stop. I'm different, I'm good!" We did. It was. We'll be stopping again on our next road trip to Ca.

"Barbecue instead of Fast Food "

Driving I 10 to Phoenix saw highway signs for all fast food types. Stopped for fast food and saw Rebel BBQ. A hole in the wall type which proved good. My husband and I stopped here for dinner one night - it's a very, very casual place and the food is good. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I had the beef brisket. Go with the beef. We both agreed it was better. Also, order the fries. I ordered the mac and cheese and didn't really enjoy it... More

Just passing through, but soooo glad we stopped at this little gem. Read a few on line reviews and decided to stop. Three different sandwiches which were all very good, but the Pretty and Pink took the top spot. After trying it the rest of the group all wanted bites because of how much I was enjoying it. Everyone voted... More

We ordered a brisket sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. The roll was soft and fresh. The meats were tender and very tasty. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

It is possible that after reading all the great reviews I expected too much but I was disappointed with Rebel BBQ. The restaurant left much to be desired. It was hot and stuffy with boring decor and a dumpy feel. The service was blah and the layout odd. You order at the counter but only a few things are actually... More

Hungry and irritated about eating from the fast food options in Blythe, we scored when we found this hidden gem next to McDonald's! The food was excellent, the aioli/bbq sauces were tasty, service was wonderful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great!!! So happy to have found this have and we will definitely be back every time we drive... More

Nice alternatve to the generic fast food options. The BBQ is very good along with the side options and they have upgraded their outside dining area. Very nice service from friendly employees

We read about this on TripAdvisor and stopped on our way back to Phoenix. The pastrami was the best! Brisket was good as well. Just a hole in the wall place, but the food was really good. They sell by the pound and we'll be stopping on our way back to Newport to get some to take with us. Served... More

$10 Sandwiches with only one side, and fries are $1.75 extra as your 1 side. Fast service. No condiments except catsup and a plain BBQ sauce. Specialty sauces are $1more. No sauce served hot (unless the specialty ones maybe?). Beer $3-3.75 no mugs. Mr eat in smoked tri tip and brisket were both not tender.
