Stuck in the midst of the food chain outlets: McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc. The Rebel BBQ sign was a beacon calling to us, "Stop, stop. I'm different, I'm good!" We did. It was. We'll be stopping again on our next road trip to Ca.

Good Place!

Rebel Barbecue has consistently served dependably good, fresh, clean food. The service is good and the organization is very community-minded.

I had a tri tip sandwich. The meat had been sitting in juices and was cut very thin like a hot roast beef sandwich. Not impressed. We also tried the rebel special fries which had brisket (ok) and pulled pork (blah) and spicy sauce over steak fries. The portion was about 2lb but we didn't finish because the flavor didn't... We had reserved a hotel in Blythe while traveling from Phoenix to LA and decided to stop for supper before checking in to the hotel. Found that Rebel BBQ was top rated so looked for it - drove right by it because it is small and its signs couldn't compete with all the many fast food places. Finally found it... More

I only rated it as average because while the was good - it's not great - I've had some of the best BBQ across the country so my grading curve is high. We arrived about an hour and half before they closed and they were out of almost everything - we had to share a rack of ribs with a... More

An easy to find little place at the Lovekin exit on I-10 (go toward town or Business 10) that seemed like a local joint. There are tables inside and out, not fancy, and orders are taken at the counter and brought to your table. We were stopping for a late lunch and opted for the Mini BBQ Sandwich platter -... More

Nice staff and a cute small place. I had the chicken pita sandwich and it was great. If anything negative it was almost too big to eat. But it was good.My wife had the Beef Brisket sandwich and she was not impressed. It was dry and tasteless. I like the facility but I am outvoted to go there again on... More

Just happened by this little place and decided to try it. we arrived between lunch and dinner hour so it was almost empty. The friendly girl at the counter helped me choose an absolutely huge specialty sandwich of pulled pork ham and bacon with cole slaw on a roll. The Pulled pork was very good, the bacon and ham was... It's good to support local places and this place is worth a visit! BBQ sauce was good and nice service. This is much better choice than any of the many fast food places in the same area. Eat here!

Loved their sandwiches, and the homemade potato salad was really delicious! Easy to get to...fast service. I go to Blythe on business, but if I was passing by on the interstate, I sure would get off there and get some lunch or dinner.
