The first thing I saw upon entering was a dead bug on the floor. It was run down looking. The food was pretty good, but they got my order wrong. It did not seem worth it to send it back since we were passing through Blythe and interested in a short break. The staff was friendly and efficient.

We stopped here traveling from AZ to CA looking for something new in Blythe and found this on our GPS. We weren't impressed by the locale because it's in front of an older Days Inn and looks like it's closed down. The only indication they were open was a red neon sign "OPEN" in the window. It's not much on... More

My daughter and I popped into the Sunset Grille enroute to Phoenix - based on reviews (Trip Advisor and Yelp). WIll have to re-think that strategy. We arrived shortly after 1:00pm on a Friday and the place was deserted (we did note that the restaurant closed from 2:00-5:00pm). We were promptly hand handed a tattered, worn copier paper menu which... More

This will be where we stop in Blythe from now on. We stopped for lunch on July 4th and the place was empty. But the staff was welcoming. I had read (in a TripAdvisor review) that they had good Huevos Rancheros and that's why we chose this place. It looks run down from the outside and I hesitated but the... More

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn, which gives you a free breakfast here & 15% off other meals if you eat here while staying at the hotel. Breakfast is not a typical one, and with a menu allowing us to choose 5 different items, we were beyond surprized at the serving sizes, and quality of the food. It was excellent!!... More

I so appreciated the veggie burger. Shredded lettuce, tomatoes (ok they were so so but it is not the tomato season) , the thousand isle type sauce was a nice touch. and I was told he cleans the grill after every burger - for a vegetarian it is nice to at least TRY to get the meat juices off. It's... More

I'm writing this review based on a visit here in July 2006. Yes, I know that's a while back now. My reasoning is that I still remember this place as having the best Huevos Rancheros Ive ever eaten. Just the wa I like em with black beans and a crispy tortilla. I just happened to be sitting here thinking about... More

I ate here last night and was not impressed. I ordered the rib eye. The steak had absolutely no seasoning. It was floating in juices. The mash potatoes were extremely lumpy, the vegetable medly tasted like it had freezer burn and had a cheap little dinner roll. I spent 29.00 for this. The staff is really slow and rude. I... More

Finding good food on the road between Phoenix and Palm Springs is and has always been a challenge. When we travel through Tonopah, Quartzite and Blythe you have the usual cacophony of fast food outlets, and sometimes we just don't stop at all. If you are traveling through these places in the daytime, quite frankly it isn't always visually inviting.... More
