Crowded!

Man was this place crowded around noon on a Saturday. Do your best to avoid peak times, took over 30 minutes to get some sandwiches. We went back for ice cream and smoothies later that afternoon and it was almost empty, plus the next morning wasn't too bad either. We had so many things over 3... read more

Sandwiches are good, but you better know exactly what you want when your turn comes; they have little patience for fickle customers. Baked goods were good as well... Packed full of tourist every single time we have driven by, so they must be doing something right. Decent, but not outstanding

We didn't actually eat here, but purchased a number of yummy goodies from the bakery. The Bacon Cheeze Bread was fantastic as was the sourdough bread. We also enjoyed the Cherry Cheese Danish and the Cherry Strudel. Shared all these at a family gathering and everyone enjoyed them!

A family business that everyone should visit if in Bishop, difficult to think about a bakery item that they don't have! We bought several different breads and we were pleased with our purchases. Numerous sandwich's are made on site and looked wonderful. We decided to come back the next day and try their breakfast; we were not pleased with the... More

Imagine a store with row upon row of bread! Sheepherder (the bread they are noted for), Mule, Sourdough, Cheese, Cheese with Bacon, Oatmeal Raisin, Cinnamon, Pullaway and many other types of bread can be found at this famous bakery. But, they didn’t stop with breads. There are many varieties of cookies, some candy, jellies and jams, ice cream and sandwiches... More

This place was crowded but super easy to grab a sandwich while driving from Mammoth back to LA. They have sandwiches already made so don't let the crowds turn you away. The sandwiches were good as were the baked treats.

Can't pass through Bishop without stopping here. The sandwiches are the best and the pastries are killer. The bread selection is massive. The parking can be tough and there are always lines but I recommend you tough it out and enjoy.
