I bake for my family all the time and I really appreciate delicious baked goods. This place is awesome! There is a lot to choose from. It was almost overwhelming but I kept it simple when ordering and was not disappointed!

Most of the old time employees are gone, prices have raised. Some of their famous breads are only baked one day a week. We've had trouble with almost every sandwich ordered to the point that we don't stop there anymore. Most locals avoid the place.

Everything there from bread to sandwiches to pastries and gelato is AWESOME that's why it's always super crowded and way too expensive.

My wife and I first stopped a Schat's a few weeks ago while returning to Reno from Las Vegas. We purchased a few packages of cookies and baked goods. One I tasted them, it brought back memories of what baked goods tasted like in neighborhood bakeries 50 years ago. A rich flavor not found in the supermarket bakeries of today.... More

Cool bakery, witha huge selection. Give it more that 5 minutes if you plan to stop by. had a own selection of "yesterdays bread" for those who want to save a dollar.

Not sure what makes this place so popular, a lot of California yuppies I guess. Over priced dry sandwiches. Big wad of meat in the middle of dry bread. I didn't see anything special about it, sorry.

The baked goods were great and we came away with lots of tasty things to take on the road. Our only complaint was that the staff wasn't particularly friendly, and didn't seem to care that we were there shopping.

Wow this place is fantastic. There is so much to choose from and they have nearly everything you would want from a bakery and more. The sandwiches are fantastic. I ordered the veggie sandwich and it was amazing, hubby got the #1 which was turkey. The choices of bread are great. Get the full sandwich because your gonna want to... More

Erick Schat's Bakkery is an incredible experience. There are samples of some of the best things available for you to nibble on and test. That was at least two pounds on my hips, for sure. My favorite was the pull-apart bread/cake loaded with cinnamon (my favorite spice for sure). We bought apple strudels, sticky buns, cookies, well -- way too... More
