Be sure to park out back and enter...the locals entrance. Great salsa and chips. Well done, spicy food, and large portions. A noisy, fun atmosphere...where the locals eat. The bar is filled by 5 pm.

We were staying in Bishop on a trip back from Yosemite. A family member and local friend recommended this restaurant to us. Being from SoCal we were hoping to get an authentic meal and not be treated as a passing through tourist. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the chicken burrito on a recommendation from... More

This is one of the best in town. Next door to Amigo's Mexican Restaurant. Lots of food for the price and you get fast service. Only one person to wait on tables but she is very good. Only been twice but plan on going again.

We went here on a suggestion from a person who lives in Bishop since we were only passing through the area. My husband ordered Shrimp Fajitas (they were not grilled in any way and looked more like a soup on his plate..with no flavor). I had the Carnitas which were dry with beans that seemed to be out of a... More

Came here for dinner while passing through for the night. We had some margaritas (shaken on the rocks with salt) and they were good. I think I was done after one (hey, I'm a cheap date). We liked the salsa, especially the real spicy one. Ordered guac which was OK and I had the carne asada and bf had fajitas.... More

My very first time eating at a Mexican food place. Figured we were in a better place for Mexican here than in Maine! I can't really say if it's the best place around having nothing to compare but it was good and the service was fast. Loved the complimentary salsa and chips. Another place where drinks were inexpensive and large.

The food is good, The service is poor. I also don't know why but the hostess stared and gave me dirty looks the whole time i was there. Some teenage brat. Anyways the food is good, the chips & salsa....The chips are the worst, but the salsa is good. We left through the front door away from the hostess as... More

Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight. The restaurant was packed, so we figured it was a place where the locals hung out. Great food and margaritas, and the service was quick and friendly.

This is the right mexican restaurant to eat at. Its a family owned place and the service reflects it. They have the best food and I tried them all while I lived in Bishop.
