We went here on a suggestion from a person who lives in Bishop since we were only passing through the area. My husband ordered Shrimp Fajitas (they were not grilled in any way and looked more like a soup on his plate..with no flavor). I had the Carnitas which were dry with beans that seemed to be out of a... More

Came here for dinner while passing through for the night. We had some margaritas (shaken on the rocks with salt) and they were good. I think I was done after one (hey, I'm a cheap date). We liked the salsa, especially the real spicy one. Ordered guac which was OK and I had the carne asada and bf had fajitas.... More

My very first time eating at a Mexican food place. Figured we were in a better place for Mexican here than in Maine! I can't really say if it's the best place around having nothing to compare but it was good and the service was fast. Loved the complimentary salsa and chips. Another place where drinks were inexpensive and large.

The food is good, The service is poor. I also don't know why but the hostess stared and gave me dirty looks the whole time i was there. Some teenage brat. Anyways the food is good, the chips & salsa....The chips are the worst, but the salsa is good. We left through the front door away from the hostess as... More

Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight. The restaurant was packed, so we figured it was a place where the locals hung out. Great food and margaritas, and the service was quick and friendly.

This is the right mexican restaurant to eat at. Its a family owned place and the service reflects it. They have the best food and I tried them all while I lived in Bishop.

I read a review that rated La Casita low because they don't serve authentic Mexican fare, but I can still highly recommend it for what it is. We've been eating at various places in Bishop for years and La Casita is a must on every trip. Some of the dishes are cheesy mexican-american fare… true, but they're still well made... More

I always stop in at La Casita in Bishop when I am in the area for something to eat and have a great Margarita. This places gets really busy but the wait isn't usually very long. All the locals eat here and it is easy to see why.

We usually stop here while road tripping the eastern sierras. The chips and salsa are good, the salsa usually brought in a little pot like thing to refill yourself. Margaritas were nice an refreshing. Food was good, not great but hit the spot and was filling. Staff is usually friendly and service good most of the time (can be slacking... More
