Located in the airport terminal, this restaurant boasts of its chef and indeed the reputation brings many people here. No alcohol sales but you can BYOB (not sure if there is a corkage fee). Note that each dish is a single person's serving - not the slightly bigger portions one might get elsewhere. My dish was okay, if a little... More

We could not have have been happier and consider this a real find. Too bad it is so far from San Diego. The food was spectacular, and we are pretty picky. We had Chicken Rama and Thai Basil w/Tofu -- these were both as good as any we've had anywhere. The sauce on the Rama was incredible. The chicken and... More

We visited on a Sunday evening on a holiday weekend. They were very busy. We knew it would take longer than usual to get our food given that there is just one lady in the back cooking. I’m willing to overlook that. But what I can’t overlook is just plain bad service. Several tables left after waiting a long time... More

The cook is a bit slow.....They will tell you up front that this is not a fast food restaurant......and the food is well worth the rate....Take a friend a spend the time talking.....Believe me, it is worth it....Just don't expect to have it on a get in quick and get out. Make it an occasion.....Wonderful food...

i ate here with my mum a week ago the waitress was very nice yet she was wearing quite the revealing outfit, like i understand people can wear what they want in certain places but it was just a bit too much. once again she was very nice!! we were there before 3 customers and their food came out before... Thai Thai (703-C Airport Rd., Bishop, CA 93514, tel. (760) 872-2595) was a fantastic surprise in a most unlikely place (Bishop and the airport building outside of town). Our server was friendly and good. Although it was busy with lots of local fans of Alisa Khongnok (aka “Rung”), the food didn't take an inordinately long time to arrive. We had... More

My wife is celiac and generally interviews restaurants on the phone before we head out to see them. This one passed her test, and we were headed out of Bishop towards the little airport. This place is truly in the middle of the arid Owens Valley and out of town by about 3 miles. We had a very good meal,... More

We were concerned with prior reviews of slow service at this Thai restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with excellent, timely service on a Friday evening. Overlooking parked planes on the airport tarmac makes a different ambiance (?). It may be a bit high price wise, but the food was very good (and my Thai wife agreed). No Pad See Yieu... More

The food here is pretty good but it is very expensive and the portions are small. They used to be good with decent portions. Now the dishes are about $13 to $16 dollars with tiny portions and very little meat. If you view the photos of the dishes here, please pay attention to the date. They are dated. The chicken... More

For some reason I wasn't expecting to find good thai in the middle of Bishop, and yet...here it is! I had a yellow curry that was fresh and tasty. It is definitely worth stopping in.
