The cook is a bit slow.....They will tell you up front that this is not a fast food restaurant......and the food is well worth the rate....Take a friend a spend the time talking.....Believe me, it is worth it....Just don't expect to have it on a get in quick and get out. Make it an occasion.....Wonderful food...

i ate here with my mum a week ago the waitress was very nice yet she was wearing quite the revealing outfit, like i understand people can wear what they want in certain places but it was just a bit too much. once again she was very nice!! we were there before 3 customers and their food came out before... Thai Thai (703-C Airport Rd., Bishop, CA 93514, tel. (760) 872-2595) was a fantastic surprise in a most unlikely place (Bishop and the airport building outside of town). Our server was friendly and good. Although it was busy with lots of local fans of Alisa Khongnok (aka “Rung”), the food didn't take an inordinately long time to arrive. We had... More

My wife is celiac and generally interviews restaurants on the phone before we head out to see them. This one passed her test, and we were headed out of Bishop towards the little airport. This place is truly in the middle of the arid Owens Valley and out of town by about 3 miles. We had a very good meal,... More

We were concerned with prior reviews of slow service at this Thai restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with excellent, timely service on a Friday evening. Overlooking parked planes on the airport tarmac makes a different ambiance (?). It may be a bit high price wise, but the food was very good (and my Thai wife agreed). No Pad See Yieu... More

The food here is pretty good but it is very expensive and the portions are small. They used to be good with decent portions. Now the dishes are about $13 to $16 dollars with tiny portions and very little meat. If you view the photos of the dishes here, please pay attention to the date. They are dated. The chicken... More

For some reason I wasn't expecting to find good thai in the middle of Bishop, and yet...here it is! I had a yellow curry that was fresh and tasty. It is definitely worth stopping in.

We were staying in Bishop for the night and decided on checking out Thai, Thai based on the good reports here on TripAdvisor. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and my wife had the shrimp-in-a-blanket which were on the appetizer menu. The serve was good, the food was very good and the restaurant was okay. Nothing fancy but pretty good.

This place is very casual. There was live music: but it was so loud that we couldn't talk and it was almost unconfortably loud. The service was very good, however. The place has a diner type feel, not a Thai restaurant atmosphere at all. They need to remodel. The food is better than the place. The food was good but... More

This is amazing, you'd never think that in the high Sierras you'd find a Thai place worth eating at. Located some distance out of town, by the airport, and hard to find at night. This place has the worst decor and and atmosphere ever. BUT, The food is excellent, the owner is Malaysian and the cook is Thai, so friendly... More
