We ordered the appetizer sampler and orange chicken. Nice presentation, good flavor and attentive service.

Rather disappointed....I read all these good reviews and figured it would be a nice meal. This is the equivalent of Chinese fast food....very ordinary stuff you could get at a cheapo Chinese takeaway in any town. The beef and chicken are rubbery/ stretchy, the sauces are loaded with salt ( and I generally dont mind salty food, this was excessive... More

We go to this restaurant at least 3 or 4 times a year. The family that runs it is very hands on and friendly. Usually very busy at lunch and dinner time but it is worth the wait. I usually go with my family. I have been to their brunch. That is very busy. I didn't think it was worth... More

Decided to try out this restaurant, though I had reservations about doing so. One finds Chinese restaurants just about anywhere, but good Chinese restaurants are usually found in big cities, like my native San Francisco. I opened the menu here and found Gai-lon. I asked if it was the real thing and was told that it was. To make the... More

Nice to have a good Chinese restaurant in a small town like Bishop. They have an extensive menu and the food is tasty, perhaps not up to some big city Chinese restaurant standards, but certainly satisfying. Service is very attentive and quick. Their prices seem reasonable compared to other Chinese menus I've seen elsewhere.

Amazing service. Somewhat pricey dinners, but very good food. Share the meals as there is plenty. Nice cold plum wine. Never had to crane my neck looking for a waiter. This type of exceptional service is becoming rare these days.

Pretty pricey for what you get. They were out of Peking Duck and had to "make" some. I've fed better dog food in the past !

We live in Bishop, and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The owner is usually in the restaurant greeting customers and making sure things are running properly.

Your average small box of rice, broccoli, orange chicken. You'll be dishing out $85 to feed 2 babies & 2 slim adults..If the prices were reasonable i'd eat there once a week or so. Instead of once every 2 years.
