Really great food and service and we ate here twice. Its a casual place that fills up quite quickly after 6 pm with both carryout and dine in, couples and families, locals and tourists. Every dish is tweaked creatively. The salsa is outstanding with a wonderful cilantro flavor. The onion/pepper grill is a unique side dish. I asked for the... More

Left half of our meals on our plates, it was tasty, flavoursome and filling. The salsa and chips to start with are lovely, we all filled ourselves up on them I think, the beer was cold and the atmosphere was buzzing - mind you the shop is very basic and bland but the staff are amazing. Loved it.

Not the usual Tex Mex fare, but real home-style mexican, authentic and also surprisingly light. The locale doesn't possess that much ambiance, but the service is friendly and efficient. No bar service (so no margaritas). Average pricing. We enjoyed our meal.

Not a very good restaurant!!! We went because of the Yelp reviews and were extremely disappointed. The waitress was uninformed about basic menu questions, and the food lived up to her lack of knowledge. One cut above inedible.

I ordered the street tacos and what I got was three hard tacos smothered in a layer of salad. Authentic? Not from my previous experience. There was little seasoning in everything. Definitely not the best Mexican venue in the state. I was disappointed after reading previous reviews. The wait staff was great. The food was just filled a void.

As the other reviews have pointed out, this is a very unpretentious little restaurant, but they serve up big flavor. The salsa is unique and delicious, and chips crisp and fresh. I called ahead to verify if they had vegetarian beans with no lard, and they confirmed that they had whole pinto beans. I ordered a bean tostada with no... More

I love Mexican and there are a few in Bishop - but after checking them out and asking locals, this was the best! Its a family business that is run with pride and great service. The food is also unique, with innovative takes on Mexican classics. I also loved their home-made chips and the daily special, which was based on... More

Enjoyed our meal at Amigos. Good quality food with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. Staff helpful and friendly, and some nice Mexican beers. Watch out for the daily specials, good value and tasty.

Went here based on other tripadvisor reviews which were mostly right on. The place is worn yes, but the food makes one not notice the ambiance. The service we received was excellent. Public parking right in the back of this establishment on N. Main St., Bishop. Tis a locals place one could tell, as staff knew a number of the... More
