A packed restaurant on a Wednesday night speaks for itself. Good menu, good food and wine and first class service. Can't fault it.

We were recommended this restaurant by friends a few months ago and have now eaten at L'Olivo 3 times and on each occasion we have been very impressed. As my Mum is Italian I can assure every one that this is the real deal, fantastic fresh food, great staff (happy and attentive) and a vibrant atmosphere. You will have to... More

Had a birthday meal in here but it would not be the place to go for a quiet romantic night as it becomes extremely noisy when busy. I went on a Tuesday evening and was amazed at how popular it is, but saying that the food really is lovely and you do get very good service.

We were very lucky to get a booking for Tuesday night with less than a week to book. If you want a Saturday you need to ring about 10 weeks in advance!!!!! We had heard about this place but hadn't been able to get in. Easy parking, lovely decor, considerate service, amazing food, as the kids say "it was lush".... More

family run, husband and wife team to my knowledge, small restaurant, need to book, which is annoying as you don't always want to plan your life months in advance, quite a 'serious' atmos, would return as food is fresh and carefully made and presented, would consider it a good place for dinner with friends, / romantic evening with hubby ….... Had booked here for our anniversary but unfortunately could not make it but I really wanted to try this place after hearing about it. I agree it can be a little noisy and the tables are a bit close - ok if you do not have to listen to the next table's irritating voice and constant sneezing as it does... More

Birthday treat for my partner. Great meal and great service. Booked a table for Thursday night two days before hand. Not a problem. Have been meaning to go for the last 2 years reading all the great reviews on TripAdvisor and work of mouth. Red wine of the month recommended by waiter was just right. Both had scollops, which were... More

A party of 12 of us went to this splendid Italian last Friday night to celebrate my Wife's birthday. They could not have looked after us better. They were very helpful in choosing the wines which were quite delicious; I wish I could remember the name of the red - I suppose I shall have to go again. The food... More

I took my family here for a meal and was left a little disappointed. Some of the food tasted like it was frozen re-heats and the wine selection was poor. Its such a shame as we live very close to this restaurant but really doubt we will return... It is also a very loud place not so ideal for couples!
