I will be back

I came in by myself looking for breakfast about 1:30 and I was really surprised as I have driven by this place many times for many years. As I walked in I was greated by a friendly server who told me I could sit wherever I wanted and came with the menu. As I sat down and looked around a... read more

We went to this restaurant after a full day of skiing. The menu is decent, the portions large, the food delicious and the prices great. The highlight of the night was the group of musicians playing instruments and singing some old favorite songs. They were very talented and the whole performance added the perfect ambiance. The biggest negative of this... More

Our group of seven (4 adults and three kids) stopped by on a Friday night and had such a good experience that we all went back on Saturday. The menu is varied with basic American cuisine plus a whole page of German dishes. German food is almost impossible to find here in Southern California, so several of the adults ordered... More

Their computer went down which really flipped out the staff, and they made no effort to hide this from the customers (very unprofessional about it)...but this was not their only problem. Dirty cups were delivered to our table for tea, both meals were cold after waiting an extremely long time to receive our order. There was no toilet paper in... More

My son asks to go to Log Cabin whenever we are in Big Bear! They have amazing, authentic German food and offer breakfast at all times. My kids love their breakfasts, and I can't wait to go in to get their potato pancakes, red cabbage, and sauerkraut! The ambiance is fun, the service is great, and you can catch live... More

It's a good spot. Close to the lodge, very nice staff. The best German items on the menu sounded good, but were beyond our budget limitations. We had something basic and got by with that. What we had was good. Nothing fancy.

My husband and I wanted to try this restaurant for breakfast. I love breakfast so I'm also looking for new things. This is a german place so I thought we would give it a shot. Service was good, the place was clean, but the food was not so good. I got an omelette and the veg's were frozen. Gross! The... More
