We dined twice here. For lunch, the chicken pot pie is unbeatable, huge, hot, flaking, tasty. Big enough for 2. The Bear's Best is a roast beef sandwich, with cheese, tomato, and salad on the side. I got au jus and grilled onions by request. So great, very home-cooked and cheerfully served. Good prices, especially for a tourist area. Next... More

We walked in for lunch and stood there for a good 10 minutes with nobody acknowledging us. We finally decided to walk over and sit at the counter. We heard a lot about their homemade chicken pot pies so my wife decided to get one. She ate as much as she could and asked for a container for the leftovers,... More

So I'm also looking for a great breakfast place anywhere we go. My husband and I both really liked this restaurant. The service was fast, the food was very good, and employees were friendly. We got to the restaurant early so we didn't have to wait but it does fill up fast. This is a great spot for breakfast!

I've never had a bad meal at the Teddy Bear Restaurant. But if you want their pot pie, better order early as they sometimes run out. The bakery items are always tempting to close off a meal. The omelets are tasty but not the fluffy kind you'd get from a 5-star. The only downside is how you pay. Don't plan... More

Had my family up in Big Bear visiting and took them to Teddy Bear for dinner. I heard a lot of great things about this place and haven't been so I thought it would be great to try out. The atmosphere is very homestyle/diner/in the woods which is pretty cool since were in Big Bear. They had fresh homemade pies... More

Perfect spot for comfort food with a nice atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming. Decor is modern yet down home. We ate here for breakfast but next time plan on eating here for dinner. Great location.

Came here the morning of my 21st birthday and I'll always remember it as the first establishment I ordered my first alcoholic beverage from! It was a mimosa, a very, very good mimosa. Not in one of those wimpy champagne flutes either... I ordered the french toast and my boyfriend an omelette and I can still here the "mmm's" we... More

We visited this place on a snowy night with the fam. I ordered the pot roast and it was the best I've ever had! The portions are huge, staff is friendly and everybody was happy. They even locally source a lot of their meats. Definitely will come back!
