Great atmosphere, great service, good food, should please your crowd

This classic log cabin cozy place should please everyone on your party. Has a nice bar, upstairs dining for busy nights, nice booths and table beside the fireplace. The food is not gourmet, but is tasty and a good value. Service was friendly and excellent. We will be back. Nice big parking lot and... read more

My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays, which are one day apart. We split a Prime Rib and Lobster dinner and had Salad Bar with it. The dinner was delicious and just the right amount of food. I do not know our server's name but she was very sweet and provided excellent service. When she found out we were... More

This restaurant definitely has the Big Bear look. I had the $20 prime rib special which included a 6 oz chunk of meat (I thought it looked bigger than 6 oz), the salad bar and soup. You may request either creamy horse radish or regular if you want the extra punch. It also comes with a baked potato and the... More

We were excited to eat here, having had it recommended to us by several people. I ordered the New York strip and a baked potato. The steak was good but somewhat overcooked for a medium rare (very little pink). My husband had the filet, and did not finish it because of the blandness. Our son had ribs and chicken. He... More

One of our favorites, but, go early, especially on weekends. Reservations recommended. Lorraine and Shawn are the best bartenders in town, great martini's and they will always remember you and what you normally order. The restaurent offers early bird specials and has great steak, scallops, and wonderful crab legs. Not that hungry, then order the salad bar. Not huge, but,... More

The service at this restaurant was amazing. My daughter was suffering from a cough due to the cold dry air and one of the ladies immediately offered Her some honey, very nice gesture. The food however was just okay overall. You can start your meal by visiting the salad and soup bar. The salad was very fresh and had a... More

If you like an old school steak house this one's for you. The service was very good, the cocktails and wine list were impressive and the steaks were big, juicy and delicious. The hearty home made soups and classic salad bar completed the meal. The kids menu includes prime rib and shrimp, which my picky eaters loved. We had a... More

I have to admit I haven't been to many places here but this is a winner. Our second visit and as good as any place we've ever been. Great food, great service, great value. What more could you ask for?

Great ambiance, just the kind of place you want to find when visiting Big Bear. The food Salmon and Primve Rib was delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly.
