Pretty Good

We were both ordering pasta dinners and the women taking our order suggested we get the family style order because we would get salads and meatballs that wouldn't have come with our other meals and it would be the same price. It was just perfect. The food we had was really good too. The guys who... read more

Awesome semi self service. Order at the counter, fill your own drinks (unlimited refills!) but generally they bring the good to you and clear your table as you finish. Great sandwiches and salads. Solid pizza. I'd stay simple on the pizza. Specialties get a little overwrought. I eat here about once a week. A go-to lunch destination in Big Bear!

Great food, wonderful staff, easy to park with a relaxed friendly feel. We went twice during our three night vacation to Big Bear, very unusual for us as we like to try different places. But our experience at Maggio's was so good the first night we both want to go again. So the first night we entered and ordered at... More

Stopped by late on a Friday, after just arrving in Big Bear. We were ready to order then we asked about their specialty ravioli, so we completely changed our order. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the braised beef short ribs - Wow!

We always hit Maggio's for pizza when we are in Big Bear. They have the best pizza in Big Bear and the garlic cheezey bread is amazing. The meatball sandwiches are pretty darn good, too. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and we usually like to eat in their dining room.

Affordable and fun! Awesome atmosphere, kinda an odd location, next to dollar tree and vons. Good food, portions could be a little bigger. Very friendly staff, and no one is in a hurry which is good if you want to sit and stay bad if your hungry. Decent wine list.

Have been going here for over 25-30 years! Used to be the best pizza anywhere, hands down!!! We would drive up the mountain just for dinner there. Over the past 2-3 years things have changed dramatically, and the drive is no longer worth it. Most importantly, the pizza, which was the staple, has become very bland. Used to have to... More

The food was great. The pizza's look out of this world. I wish we would have gotten one of them. But very happy with what we chose instead. It's half self serve and half being served. I was confused at first but definitely will go their again. Very pleasant staff.

The food was good, we were not supper hungry so we had just a medium house salad with mozzarella cheese and it was good and enough food for us to share. Our friends got some garlic bread and we tried it and it was very good. It is very casual dining and great for large groups or families
