They don't skimp on the toppings!

Looked up best pizza in town and this place popped up,so we went for lunch. The place was pretty busy and a bit loud, but it looked like a sport team was there and I would expect that sound level here anyway. We were taken to a table and then told to go order at the counter and given a pager... read more

We had lunch there on 4/8/15. We were warmly welcomed with a friendly face as we walked in. When we said it was our first time there our hostess ebulliently told us that everything on the menu was Great! and that she wasn't kidding. Well we are believers now. We had the Mediterranean Pizza, Chicken & Spinach Lasagne and Pasta... More

I find it is never helpful to criticize a restaurant. I DO find it valuable to tell you our observations and our subjective experience. This very friendly and comfortable eatery is apparently a local favorite. Now here is our observation and experience. As someone who has been around the world devouring Italian dishes, and not being a smart-alecky, or know... More

Quick and friendly service! Loved the soft and freshly baked bread and the pizza. The pizza had a crispy crust which my family loves. We don't make it up to Big Bear that often, but when we do, this is a must stop!

This place has great pizza and other Italian delights. You find a table, then order and the food is delivered. The Anti-Pasta salad is one of our favorites. You get your own silverware and plates, so this is not a restaurant you go to for fine dining.

I tried their stromboli special which was very good. Loved the freshness of the ingredients (zucchini!). Great value for the money.

We stopped in this local favorite pizza shop while on vacation in Big Bear. We ordered a large margherita (sp) pizza. We stayed because we found something our daughter would eat. This location is small and extremely busy and probably should move to a larger location to accommodate the volume that comes through the door. The only issue with the... More

After hearing rave reviews, my husband and I finally tried Maggio's on Saturday for lunch. We arrived mid-afternoon and it was absolutely packed. To say this restaurant is popular is an understatement. A friendly employee handed us menus and told us to go grab any table, when we had decided, we placed our order at the counter. They gave us... Used to live in Big Bear and ate here often. Still great! The alfredo pizza with artichokes and chicken is to die for.

Big Bear Lake has many choices for pizza. We decided to give Maggio's a try because of reviews on the web, cost, and location. The cost was competitive and it was easy to find.We ordered their largest pizza 1/2 ham and 1/2 pepperoni. When we got back to our cabin we discovered they had forgot the pepperoni entirely. The taste was good and I...
