Had a very nice lunch here. Waitress was very attentive and friendly and the kitchen went out of its way to split a salad we had ordered! Presentation (and taste) were excellent.

I tried the troll burger with swiss cheese and it was really delicious! The burger doesn't have a sauce in it (also no mayo or ketchup etc.) which makes it easy to digest! The freshly grilles meat tastes wonderful!

Wow...so embarrassed I dragged my whole extended family here for lunch while in Big Bear. I didn't think it would be hard to make decent sandwiches, but our experience really sucked. First, the waitress kept insisting that potatoes (fries) were made of wheat. Two in our party are gluten-free. Potatoes are not made of wheat, and she said the fries... More

My boyfriend and I ate at Trolls on a Sunday in late July 2012. It was packed. Jam packed and clearly popular, lots of people with small children. We managed to find two seats at the bar, which was fine by us. It was actually the quietest place in the restaurant. We had burgers, beer and a ton of the... More

We ate here for lunch and had a great time. The burgers are tasty and the beer is cold. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. The service was great here. This place had the best service we encountered in all of Big Bear.

My wife and I decided to try this place after reading reviews online. We started off with clam chowder and loved it. It was Thick, just how I like it, and it's made in house. We got the beer battered onion rings, and I could really taste the beer. These were some of the best beer battered onion rings we've... More

Nice quaint place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant is fairly new as we got talking with the owner about her new place. The food was good, not too expensive either.

Who knew that trolls were such good cooks. I was in the mood for a tuna sandwich. This place did not disappoint. The artisenal wheat bread was wonderful. The tuna was perfectly prepared. Not too much mayo. Just an awesome sandwich.

The restaurant is located in the middle of the block along Village Drive in the town of Big Bear Lake and you need to be looking for it as it is a small place. The items on the menu are cooked to order so do not expect it to be a fast food place. The food is very tasty and... More
