great little rock bar!

They got great wings, if you like spicy try the inferno. The bartender is really nice, sorry i forgot your name. He worked the night of 2/15. They have pool tables, darts and a live band. Slingshot was there. Overall great time, great music and great bartender.

Well the place is basically a bar that serves food. We came in with a group of 20 and it took them a long time to serve us, literally one hour from order to everyone getting their food. They are more set up to be a bar. Food when it came was decent, and the servers were friendly. I suppose... More

Nice place but bad service if you have a tan! was in Big Bear for weekend an wanted to watch the Patriots vs Colts. saw this place and decided to give a try. Walked in and sat at bar, made eye contact with the three bartenders working (2 older ladies and a man). 20 min later and still no greeting... More

Came here for a few drinks before dinner on a quiet Friday night. Overall? Meh. It could be that it was just really early, but hardly anyone was there. We ordered beers at the bar and then played a game of pool. Pool equipment wasn't in great shape and they didn't have a rest to reach. Chad's didn't do anything... More

Hi Alyssa- Thanks for the feedback. Not sure what time you were there but Friday nights around dinnertime is usually the "calm before the storm" for us. Most people come to Chad's for the DJ and live band on Friday and Saturday nights after dinner (till about 1:30am). November is also kind of an in-between season for us in Big... More

There are so many dining choices in Big Bear I would suggest avoiding Chad's Place. Prices were fair, but the service was poor and the outdoor patio was very dirty. The food was okay but nothing special. I will not go there again.

We went to the new location and was surprised at how accommodating and friendly the help was. As compared to other places, they seem to really appreciate your business and strive hard to make your visit fun. The food was great. The chef himself came out just to see how we liked the burgers. The bartender was extremely nice to... More

Chad's has long been a staple of the Village in Big Bear and they recently moved to the old Bank of America building. It was amazing that it still looked the same inside and that's because they took everything with them, the bar, the pool tables, the furniture, the decorating and set it up like a clone of the old... The new location is great, the staff was friendly, and the beer was cold. The owner came around with some deep fried pickles he was thinking about putting on the menu, they were alright, but if he want to make them a hit he needs to come up with a beer batter.
