We had a great Sunday morning breakfast here with another couple we came with and had good food and great service! We have eaten at a few places in big bear and some places leave a lot to be desired in the 'service' category. Boo Bears Den was very good in that area! We were greeted immediately & sat within... This is a family restaurant right in the center of the Village. I had lunch at 2pm. The service was so bad the busboy gave better service than the waitress. In fact, the owner, a very nice man, finally came and said my food would be ready soon (the busboy must have told him my order since I couldn't get... More

My boyfriend and I stopped by Boo Bear's Den for lunch last sunday afternoon. We sat on the patio, which was perfect for a summer day. They had a man playing live music, giving it a festive feel, perfect for our vacation weekend. The service was a little slow, but to be fair, they were busy. The servers were friendly... More

For a sit down restaurant in a middle of The Village this place has very reasonable prices. In fact, it has very reasonable prices, period. But there is more. The patio atmosphere is great, there is greenery and a cute fountain in a middle. When we were there, they had live music. And most importantly, the food we got was... More

Good service, good food, casual Big Bear dining at its best. No hurries, no worries, sat and people watched outside and enjoyed a relaxing breakfast. Had an excellent server who was very efficient and friendly.

Stopped by for dinner and ate out on the nice patio. The service was ok, but the food was less than average. We had a French Dip, but the roast was fatty and lacking flavor, but the ribs were decent. It was a busy weekend, but I don't think we would try it again.

The outside tables and umbrellas looked good and it looked busy so we chose Boo Bear for a late brunch. The greeter was pleasant and the staff were helpfull but we were disappointed by the quality of the food. I had the soup and a half sandwich, lukewarm soup and really stale bread. I know my wife was also disappointed... More

Visited for brunch on a Sunday with a group of about 12 people. There is no waiting area, so customers waiting to be seated have to stand near the restrooms in the waiters' way. My food (pancakes) was ok, but some of my friends did not enjoy theirs. Service is poor, with waiters shoving through customers in their way. Restrooms... More

This place is great for breakfast. The staff is helpful and provides great service. i do not know why this place is not as full as the restaurant in front of it, that is always too full. This place is a better option.
