Fun family dinner spot

The appetizers were very good. We had the gator bites and onion rings. Fried perfectly. The dinners were good as well - fried shrimp, grilled fish and shrimp, steamed crab legs and shrimp. Not much selection in wine, but there is a full bar. felt a little rushed by the staff.

Incredible fish and shrimp, BEST tartar and hushpups. Service is fast, courteous and family friendly. Both locations if Nicks rock!

We made reservations for 5:30 for our party of 11 and were seated immediately upon arrival. They had fried pickles as a special appetizer and we also had the onion rings. The appetizers were all great and the portions were large. For our entrees, we had fried shrimp, snow crab legs and shrimp wrapped in bacon. Do not let the... More

Order the onion rings, they are awesome. Shrimp is great but bar is limited. Overall good experience.

Nick's won't make you feel out of place like some of the other local restaurants. A no frills establishment with good food and excellent service. The owner and staff will make you feel at home. Fried oysters were very good with excellent breading. Grilled fish also very good. Coconut cake a must try.

We actually ate here twice during our week long stay in the Blue Mountain Beach area: once we dined in the restaurant and once we had take out. Both experiences were good. The food is good: nothing special or gourmet, but good. The staff is relatively friendly. The prices are reasonable.

I've been to Nicks several times but this time was a miss. Went sat evening, a little later so not too much of a wait, close walk from our rental. Fried shrimp were ok, mine were a little limp n not hot nor that great. Baked potato was good, grits were bland n runny-especially sad because normally we love their... More

The sign outside said best shrimp so I tried them. Super yummy fried shrimp- cooked and seasoned perfectly! My husband ordered a New York strip and the flavor was delicious. The food came out quickly and the service was friendly.

Tried Nick's today on day 1 of our family beach vacation. Come to this area several times a year. Recommended by am acquaintance. Arrived at noon on a summer Saturday. 3 other families having lunch. Not busy. I had the mahi grilled sandwich, husband has the grilled sampler, and kids shared the large sampler platter (fried). None were memorable. Nick's... More
