Perfect seafood

Four of us ate there and cleaned our platters. Not a crumb left. The restaurant is family owned and after a disastrous fire, have rebuilt and reopened. I don't recall anything but seafood on the menu, but that's what we went there to get. My selection was very ordinary - fried shrimp and... read more

If you want good crabs go here. It does not look like much but you will be surprised and satisfied. The view from the restaurant was even great. Highly recommended.

Only go if you want fried food. They do have a few other grilled selections, but they are tasteless. A $21 grilled combo consisted of 4 small shrimp and maybe 4oz of a fish that was supposed to be grouper, but definitely was not. Seafood gumbo did not contain a single piece of seafood. I have no clue why people... More

Our family met at Nick's for a pre-wedding get-together. This was informal with all ages represented-small children to senior adults. We had around 24 people being fed. The people who worked there were very nice and helpful. They tried to get the young children fed first so they could leave before it got too late. The food was very good.... More

We were looking to try a place we hadn't visited before, so we decided to try Nicks. Food was good but a bit pricy. We went at lunch and there was only one other table occupied when we arrived. Fish of the day was great, but shrimp basket special was lacking quantity. Overall good food and good service but there... More

All the food was great and the atmosphere was family oriented and open. It was especially nice to talk to the owners and hear stories about their multi-generational life in the Florida panhandle.

We were neutral to disappointed in our experience at Nick's. The people were nice enough. The food is all fried. The shrimp were probably the best thing going. Nothing seemed fresh. Prices in my opinion were unreasonably high for what we got. I sure wish we had gone between I think it was 11-4 when shrimp is only 9.95. Portions... More

It was dinner time and we were looking for a seafood place that didn't have a 90-minute wait. We drove east on 30-A and saw Nick's. We pulled in and parked. They were able to seat us right away! Our waitress came to the table right away and took our drink order; since they have Pepsi products, I opted for... More

So -to start off our waitress was so rude when my 21 yr old ddr ordered a margarita - when she looked at my ddr's ID she kept very nastily asking if she was 21, etc. I was shocked at how rude she was. Then, there's the food - the fried shrimp batter was nice and light but with NO... More

The night started off fine. The bad attitude of tabatha ruined the night. She was extremely rude when I didn't like the fried mess they put in front of me. She then went to retrieve, "Grandaddy". Grandaddy then shrugged his shoulders and told us, "there is nothing I can do, our waitress did nothing wrong in my opinion." Then noticing... More
