Eh? Baldi

We were recommended to try e. baldi by some industry friends who said it was their favorite place in LA. We arrived and were sat promptly, given menus and read the specials. With so many good Italian places in LA, it's tough to stand out. The menu has some really interesting selections and the... read more

To Locals, Beverly Hills is simply known as “BH”. Wilshire Boulevard runs right through the center of town East to West dividing North and South BH. The North part of BH is anything north of Wilshire Boulevard looking towards the Hills. As a rule, North BH is where the more expensive shops, hotels and restaurants are found like the Famous... Been in BH for 6 days, this place recommended by Tom ford. Booked dinner. Found from offset we were treated differently, bread and tomatoes for all the tables surrounding us, but not us.... Until we asked a passing server. Filled own wine glasses, finally on second bottle - placing it in view of the waiter 'dario' so he would be... More

We were walking around Beverly Hills and found a nice looking restaurant and made a reservation for that evening. The hostess was very nice and signed us up for an outside table. The dinner surpassed our expectations both food and service. Two nights later we found ourselves needing to go out again and returned to Ebaldi. On short notice on... More

Came here for lunch. This is a very good restaurant that serves great food and is kind of quiet and reserved. Many Hollywood actors like this place.

I am an LA local but for whatever reason I was never quite mottivated to go - not when there is Giorgio Baldi, the [God]father of authenticity in trattorias located on West Channel Road in Pacific Palisades. Nevertheless, my internist buddy took me for a nice dinner. Place is small, fairly noisy, some posers but not the extremely Botoxed and... More

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, look no further! This place is amazing!! You feel like you are in Italy when you taste their food, it is absolutely delicious! I started with the pasta e fagioli soup(insane) and then margherita pizza(insane)...my husband loved it too! This place is worth every penny if you are looking for real Italian... More

Overpriced, not so hot. Wine pours are for Tom Thumb. Caters to entertainment types and people with money to burn.

This started out as a world class restaurant, the chef has lost his mojo, the hostess in the evening does not honor reservations and is just outright rude. The chef should venture out of the kitchen and see whats going on Wolfgang does, As does Gino at Angelli. and his late father did.

Loved this place. Italian food cooked the way it should be. All sorts of typical dishes cooked by Italian chefs and served by Italian waiters. You feel at home there, being introduced to your food (gotta love that) like Nonna would do.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
