My wife and I recently visited this upscale restaurant during a trip to LA. The restaurant was a bit loud, but the service was excellent! My wife had the american wagyu which was amazing, however it didnt compare to the short ribs!! the short ribs were out of this world, best Ive had!! I highly recommend! Prices were rather high... My husband and I went to Cut on our 30th wedding anniversary, specifically to try the Japanese 100% Wagyu Beef From Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyushu. Prior to dinner we stopped at Sidebar and had Show Me Love handcrafted cocktails which were excellent. While we enjoyed those, they brought us complimentary gazpacho made with heirloom tomatoes. First - true confession, my daughter... More

With all the rave reviews, we were looking forward to our dinner at CUT. It had great potential, but unfortunately they fell short. Pros: Their Sidebar & featured cocktails were great, the ambiance in the restaurant was hip and modern, the maître d' was very welcoming and professional, most of the food was very good (especially the American Wagyu, which... With its glamorous and helpful staff, Cut really is one of the best restaurants I've tried in LA. From start to finish I was impressed. The service was exceptionally polite and helpful, gracious in a way one rarely sees today, despite the busyness of the establishment. And the food: miraculous. From the superb appetizer of bone marrow flan, which is... More

The most impressive characteristic of this restaurant is its excellent staff [at least the people who helped us]. The staff was attentive, without being obtrusive.. They were also funny and engaging. The bar drinks were very good. The wine list huge. The starters and sides were above average. The steaks we ordered were perfectly cooked. We tried the regular prime... More

We came for dinner here during our holiday and had the most expensive meal of our holiday - we only had 2 steaks, 2 sides, 2 non-alcoholic cocktails and water...$320!!! We were really excited to come, especially having seen the menu and all the options for Wagu steaks. The restaurant is like a conveyor belt and is very busy -... More
