The sushi is definitely some of the best. The service was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Packed as always we could secure two seats at the bar despite a last minute reservation. The food is out of this world so nothing else matters. Expensive yes but quality has it's price. The atmosphere is always special, the service courteous and professional and it's way way better than all the Nobus, Zumas and Hakkasans. Probably one of the... More

What a blast we had. Best place to dine is at the Chefs Bar. Reason is that the dishes are served at the temprature it should be served and will enhance a flavor exlosion. Also received great tips on how to eat sushi it was ment to be. Wil certainly be back for more when back in the area. We... More

I loved it. We got a Very expensive dish but it was totally worth it. But it was so fun because we actually met Nobu himself

I visited Matsuhisa for the first time because some Japanese friends told me that the food there is very good although very expensive. We were two people on a MONDAY night at 7pm. We were sat in the worst table the room - close to the door and in the middle of the room - although there were many tables... More

I really do love the inventiveness of this menu. Everything always so fresh and clean tasting. I love the cindy rice, which may or may not be on the menu so ask for it special!

We were a group of 7 celebrating a special occasion. We had the most awesome Omisake dinner. The waiter brought course after course of the most amazing food. Chicken dumplings with truffles. Cabbage with shaved black truffles and a huge amount of saffron. Various sashimi and the most amazing array of other fish and seafood dishes. I personally had the... More

Had the toro...melts in your mouth, and the lobster ,super tender, the tiny eggplant in miso ,amazing! Everything is great. Busy, casual, must reserve 1 month ahead. We have been 10 times and it is always the best sushi in the USA! Nobu's first restaurant, and to us, his best. Eat in the sushi bar area or at it. This... More

How can anybody say anything bad about the legendary Matsuhisa? And, actually, I don't have anything that bad to say. We were taken there by good friends, occupied half of the 8-seat "chef's table" that served omakase and had some outrageously good wine. The food was very good and we even had a special appearance by Nobu himself, who was... More
