I believe this is the original Nobu and has a very similar menu with all the same signature dishes (black cod w/ miso, jalepeno yellowtail sashimi, rock shrimp, etc.). Despite the Nobu chain's growth during the last few years, the quality remains top-notch and I still visit Matsuhisa whenever I can. Highly recommended! more

High priced ... not so many good choices ... it is not about the fish ... it is about presentation and ambience ... if that is what you look for in food ... certainly not what we look for more

Very innovative Japanese cuisine. The Kobe Beef is to die for, but the sushi could be better. The other surprise was their dessert - the chocolate souffle in a bento box was unreal. more

Matsuhisa is a great place and surprisingly not crazy expensive. I have been going there for over 15 years and I have never been disappointed. more
