Amazing Wagyu beef dumplings, Nice teriyaki sauce but could have provided more, nice Chirashi with a wide selection of sashimi, AMAZING TUNA. In comparison to Nobu Melbourne it was much more in my price range and value for money, in comparison to Matsuhisa Aspen it was missing a bit of the vibe and some of the food wasn't as good.... More

What can I say? It's soooo mouth-wateringly great. You won't be able to believe the creativity of the chefs at Matsuhisa in BH. Get the yellowtail with jalapenos. Eat at a table or a bar. All seats are fabulous here. It's a definite winner.

Freshest sushi ever...small space but so worth it. Try to make a reservation so you don't have to wait.

So the place is expensive, but the sushi is excellent! I highly recommend it if you are a sushi fan. They have a pretty good wine list too, more options than most sushi places.

The food was pricey...but if you don't mind spending a bit more for quality and fresh ingredients, then you will not be disappointed. The interior/decor is not 5-star...but the food and attentive service are the keys here.

Not my first time but i thought this was better than ever. Had the Halibut Tiradito to start - thinly sliced halibut bathed in citrus sauce with a very light spice. Amazing. Then the Rock Shrimp Creamy/Spicy - always a favorite. The place is pretty low key given this was Nobu's first restaurant. The food is always fresh and creative... More

I love sushi, in fact anything Japanese. I love the different ways of cutting fish, serving it as sashimi or nigiri or maki or ..... They certainly have a huge variety of very fresh produce, cut to order and presented beautifully. Also a variety of sake to choose from. Service was quick and attentive. Considering how all the tables are... More

On a recent 4 day trip to L.A., we had 4 great dinners at restaurants by Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, and Nobu Matsuhisa. Our dinner at Matsuhisa was clearly the best of the four. At Matsuhisa, the food is clearly the star, but the staff were extremely helpful. While my daughter loves sushi, I do not. My daughter... More

I've eaten here only twice, both times with Japanese guests, and the meals were superb. We ordered the tasting menus and the dishes were extremely creative, beautiful to look at, fresh and tasty. Let them prepare the dishes they think are good and you won't be disappointed.
