The food was pricey...but if you don't mind spending a bit more for quality and fresh ingredients, then you will not be disappointed. The interior/decor is not 5-star...but the food and attentive service are the keys here.

Not my first time but i thought this was better than ever. Had the Halibut Tiradito to start - thinly sliced halibut bathed in citrus sauce with a very light spice. Amazing. Then the Rock Shrimp Creamy/Spicy - always a favorite. The place is pretty low key given this was Nobu's first restaurant. The food is always fresh and creative... More

I love sushi, in fact anything Japanese. I love the different ways of cutting fish, serving it as sashimi or nigiri or maki or ..... They certainly have a huge variety of very fresh produce, cut to order and presented beautifully. Also a variety of sake to choose from. Service was quick and attentive. Considering how all the tables are... More

On a recent 4 day trip to L.A., we had 4 great dinners at restaurants by Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, and Nobu Matsuhisa. Our dinner at Matsuhisa was clearly the best of the four. At Matsuhisa, the food is clearly the star, but the staff were extremely helpful. While my daughter loves sushi, I do not. My daughter... More

I've eaten here only twice, both times with Japanese guests, and the meals were superb. We ordered the tasting menus and the dishes were extremely creative, beautiful to look at, fresh and tasty. Let them prepare the dishes they think are good and you won't be disappointed.

I heard a lot of praises about this establishment and decided to try it when was in the area. Well, this was a true disappointment! the portion were small, the service was OK. the price, outrages. 2 lunch specials which included 9 pieces of Sushi, + one cut roll and (very) small bowl of Edamame, plus one cup of tea... This is quite a small restaurant and expect to be seated closed to the next diner. When we were in the restaurant and saw how 'cramp' the space was, I thought this might not have been the best choice for a nice birthday celebration but I was wrong. The service staff do make an effort to take care of you... More

Great to visit real Nobu restaurant when its` so casual, completely not posh, as it is around the world. Very simple, but nice. Enjoyed dynamic atmosphere, open kitchen and tasty rolls ans sushi

We went Valentines Day. Had perfectly prepared fresh sushi and sashimi, delicious black cod, tasty kobe beef, cold sake and timely service in an upbeat atmosphere close to celebrities
