You'll know the moment you arrive that Lawry's The Prime Rib is an extraordinary restaurant. The signature Roasted Prime Ribs of Beef are aged 21 days, rock salt-roasted to perfection then carved to order tableside from shining silver carts. The famous Spinning Bowl Salad, whipped cream horseradish, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and warm hospitality complete the experience that has landed Lawry's on countless "10 Best" lists and made it a dining legend since 1938.

I'm not much of a prime rib person. Normally a bone in rib eye is my satisfaction. My wife and I enjoy trying new places. We went for Valentines day. It's more of an event than fine dining! Relatively quiet for being so large. Great service, very tasty prime rib done table-side with a huge carving station and swirling salad bowl. Expensive.

I went to a business lunch/awards ceremony with some friends. The prime rib was delicious but the Yorkshire puddings were sensational. Friendly service and the goos food made for an enjoyable meal.

we love this place! it's not just a meal, but an experience. it's old "hollywood", fancy but not snobby. food is amazing. the spinning salad is a ritual. you can cut the steak with a fork. best place in l.a for a fantastic memorable meal.

What a treat to,return to Lawry's for some of the world's best prime rib. Love watching it being cut table side as they roll around the restaurant. Wonderful Yorkshire Pudding.

This is the place for prime rib..very tender and flavorful, but be weary of portion and price. There is a petite version and then the Lawry's cut which the menu says is their most popular. It is over $40 so I figured it was would be 16 Oz or so...it was 10 oz at best. This size should be sold... More

One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco if the House of Prime Rib. Well this is where the House of Prime rib got its inspiration. There is a reason this Restaurant has been around for 75 years. Its just plain excellent. The service is excellent. The Ambiance is elegant. The presentation of the meal is excellent. If you like... OK, let me start by saying I had no idea about Lawrys before this visit. No idea it was a chain, and no clue that it would be such a large restaurant with many large groups of people having celebrations. They all have great taste!!! We both had prime rib, and what can I say. WOW! What an amazing cut... More

This is the only place I can have prime rib now. No other place compares. Drive all the way from San Diego just to have dinner here.

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
