Having been so excited to try Mr. Chow after the years of wanting to dine here, the features in magazines, friend referrals and the celebrity of it all - it was a bit of a let down. It is beautiful and full of familiar faces, but the service we encountered was not accommodating. Given this was... read more

One of my favorite places to eat!! Their food is always excellent and the staff is on point. Great for romantic dinners and special occasions. Not really for kids.

We were visiting from another state, and my daughter wanted to eat at this place. I had never heard of it even thought we eat out in New York where we visit often and where I believe the original U.S. location of Mr. Chow is located. It was very expensive, but we knew that going in. The service was first... More

We were pushed out the back to what seemed to be the setting up area. We took advice and let them order for us, that was a mistake!! What arrived was like a mush of rice with plastic through it. So expensive and over-rated, what a shame, we will not be going back.

This is just a good court quality and not a restaurant quality. The food is tasteless and expensive ..... Is like food court food but putting on a nicer plate and serve by people !!!! Nothing special and Nothing come closer to restaurant quality. Even one of the chef told me many food are pre cook and just microwave it... More

This is probably the best Chinese Restaurant I have had the pleasure to eat. All of the dishes were wonderful and the flavor was non-stop with each dish. We had many to choose from and probably eat way too much. I would come early and stay long and sample as many different dishes as possible.

I'm a Mr Chow fan but I prefer the London restaurant. This one is a bit to busy and over the top for me personally. To many people jamed in with no real space. The food is good though.

This is the 2nd time I've eaten at Mr. Chow, last time 20 years ago. My wife is not a fan of Chinese, but even she raved. A great high energy room full of Bev. Hills pretty people. But to hell with that, the food is too great for words. The paparazi was outside so I guess the picture perfect... More

This restaurant has a gorgeous decor-- polished hotel silver, lit tables, beautiful flowers and was very lively even on a Monday night. They have reasonable valet parking. We opted for the small plates-- enjoyed the Mr. Chow noodles, beef pancake, chicken satay and dumplings. It was all beautifully presented and delicious. They also gad a good wine list. It's a... A very different Mr Chow to the New York version but the food is just as good . The service is very good and this is a great way finish a day shopping on Rodeo drive and you haven't lived till you have the Peking duck

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
