Over the Top Chinese

This is the 2nd time I've eaten at Mr. Chow, last time 20 years ago. My wife is not a fan of Chinese, but even she raved. A great high energy room full of Bev. Hills pretty people. But to hell with that, the food is too great for words. The paparazi was outside so I guess the picture perfect... read more

This restaurant has a gorgeous decor-- polished hotel silver, lit tables, beautiful flowers and was very lively even on a Monday night. They have reasonable valet parking. We opted for the small plates-- enjoyed the Mr. Chow noodles, beef pancake, chicken satay and dumplings. It was all beautifully presented and delicious. They also gad a good wine list. It's a... A very different Mr Chow to the New York version but the food is just as good . The service is very good and this is a great way finish a day shopping on Rodeo drive and you haven't lived till you have the Peking duck

My favourite of the Mr Chow restaurants. It's a must visit each time I am in LA. Polished service with a great buzz about the place. First class food.

We were looking forward to eating here close to Rodeo Drive. The parking system was very efficient and fast where they offer concierge service. We were hopeful as the place was a buz. However the serice was a little stern where you felt rushed to move you on! Food was OK to average.

I recently visited Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills for dinner. We purchased the $60 each fixed price meal and allowed the waiter to choose our dishes. The food was so delicious. I am still thinking about the prawn and walnut dish. We all had several glasses of wine so our bill came to about $120.00 per person with tax and... More

Mr. Chow, Beverly Hills January 26, 2015 After having read that this is THE quintessential restaurant at which to dine in the City of Angels, my husband and physician son, dined together at Mr. Chow. We were seated on the "non-VIP" side of central glass seating partition. The meal was without a doubt, delicious, and "foodie" worthy. The imported chefs... More

We got a last minute reservation for dinner for two and looked forward to a nice Chinese inspired meal. The shrimp dumplings were very ordinary and boring. The diced chicken was also mediocre as was a the steamed bass. Nothing stood out and everything felt prepared a long time in advance and not very fresh. At first we were seated... More

As our server so proudly told us, they've only been in this business for the last 40 years!!! So we decided to do what everybody did until recently, when they didn't even have menus. We said what we like and let them choose for us. And the result was totally worth it: Spicy, interesting, complex, obviously well thought-through dishes at... More

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
