Mr Chow is an example of when a restaurant gets arrogant and doesn't care. If you want average food with dreadful service and be kept waiting for 40 minutes in the cramped bar go to Chow - that's the only thing they do consistently. It used to be superb. The wine list serving wines too young is the most expensive... More

Although we had a reservation at 9:00 PM they gave us a table at 9:30 PM and left us sitting at the door for the whole time. In my opinion the manager is very arrogant as he passed by us several times and did not even tell us what is going on. The rest of the staff is very nice... More

Service was excellent, however portions are seriously too small for the price. One sort of wants to laugh when the tiny plate is put in front of you and you remember that it was $35+. Anyway it is a fun scene, and I would go back (if someone else pays!). It's Beverly Hills!

Ambiance, food, service- all superb. Felt like we were eating on a film set! Other diners looked interesting- U.S.celebrities lost on us from England- but hard not to people watch whilst waiting for the delicious food. An A list movie star was dining there- not naming as not fair. What can I say-Go for it! Allow $100 dollars pp thou(£70.00)not... More

Had high expectations for this place. We had a later booking for 9:30pm, thought we'd be ok in terms of not having to wait for our table, having said that, I'd be fine waiting a little due to how popular this restaurant is, but well over an hour? That's ridiculous! I was ravenous after being seated but really couldn't enjoy... More

Had lunch today - august 4. Service was poor. My 10 year old daughters order was so delayed as we watched other tables being served with the same dish. Waiter asked my wife if she wanted wine and assumed I didn't want any. We let our feelings be known. Food was not bad. But our expectations were higher. Mahesh

Had a great time at Mr Chow on Friday night with my husband. From the minute we walked in, everyone was friendly, welcoming and the service was excellent. The maître d was a fellow Australian and actually grew up close to where we live. He was extremely friendly and a credit to Mr Chow's for having someone so personable running... More

We went to the Famous Mr. Chow for my birthday and decided that lunch would be less mayhem and that even though that might make it more difficult to spot a famous person, we went to celebrate my birthday more than anything else. We had parked the car in a garage because we walked around before and afterwards, but they... More
