Disappointed!

Food was delicious but tables were so crammed together that they had to be moved as people got to their seats - no private conversations possible. Booths very hard to reserve. Staff were great. Have moved from London and was expecting an experience like Mr. Chow's there.

this enchanted inn, certainly has become the inn of the sixth happiness, black and white... banners and wall hangings of the past and future all presented by the international business man and host himself,,,, mr. chow, film producer, art collector presenter of the first gourmet chinese jewell of beverly hills and london.... over 40 years of continued gracious quiet seatin... I'll start with the NEGATIVE part of the night in case you don't read till the end. Something VERY INNAPROPRIATE happened. Shame on management for taking so long to do something about it!!! At the table to our right were a middle aged couple. Mid way through the meal three young adults males who were loud, disrespectful and probably drunk,... More

I love the ambiance, the food was good! However, I was a bit disappointed with the side of the restaurant where we were seated. It appears that the A-listers all get the larger side and common people are seated on the much smaller side near the kitchen!

We wanted to eat Chinese and the hotel recommended Mr Chow. The restaurant is very tight on space and we were were shoe-horned into a table for two. We took a look at the menu and before we had any time to absorb it, the maitre de came by and said he could create a starter/main course section for us.... More

The food here was AMAZING! It's not "chinese food", it's so much more. Melt in your mouth slap yo mama sweet shrimp, sea bass, and beef. Great service. Seating is tight but who cares, so worth it!

One of my favorite places to eat!! Their food is always excellent and the staff is on point. Great for romantic dinners and special occasions. Not really for kids.

We were visiting from another state, and my daughter wanted to eat at this place. I had never heard of it even thought we eat out in New York where we visit often and where I believe the original U.S. location of Mr. Chow is located. It was very expensive, but we knew that going in. The service was first... More

Having been so excited to try Mr. Chow after the years of wanting to dine here, the features in magazines, friend referrals and the celebrity of it all - it was a bit of a let down. It is beautiful and full of familiar faces, but the service we encountered was not accommodating. Given this was our first time, we... More

We were pushed out the back to what seemed to be the setting up area. We took advice and let them order for us, that was a mistake!! What arrived was like a mush of rice with plastic through it. So expensive and over-rated, what a shame, we will not be going back.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
