Great find

My wife and I walked in off the street after arriving from a road trip around California. Having eaten in many great modern Asian restaurants Mr Chow would not disappoint. Yes it's a bit expensive and busy but made up for it as an great LA experience with vibe. As a suggestion leave the waiter to... read more

Made a reservation for Christmas Eve.... going to church after dinner. Mr Chow called the day before to confirm. We arrived 10 minutes before the reserved time. After waiting over an hour STANDING at the bar and hearing multiple "in five minutes" promises, we left. No one from the resteraunt called to apologize. Our experience was the result of a... More

We arrived with another couple right on time for our 8 pm reservation. We were shown the absolute worst table in the deafeningly noisy restaurant, the last banquette table just before the kitchen walkway, serving station and stack of unused dining chairs. The tables were so closely packed together that the women (seated inside) could not get out to use... More

We hap friends highly recommend Mr Chow to us so we had an hour before heading to a ball game and decided to give it a try. We did not do it justice as we only had an hour. Service was impeccable and food came out fast as they were aware of our time constraints and accommodated us beautifully. Every... More

Being on vacation and staying nearby, we booked a table some weeks before to ensure that we were not disappointed on the night, however, even though we got a table, we were disappointed. We arrived a few minutes before our appointed time of 8pm on a Saturday evening. Once we had registered we were directed to have a drink at... More

Food and service were very good. Food is outrageously priced with smaller plates. Dinner for four with drinks and tip was $345.00. We were 11 people for Chinese food at another restaurant considered higher end a week later and we had leftovers for $250. The tables were so close together it had to be pulled out to go to the... Service fantastic. Never a moment your drink wasn't filled. Very very cramped. They had to pull out the table so we could sit on the bench. Had to laugh at the other comments because we too laughed at the old unattractive men with their prized possessions being women. The food was the most delicious Chinese food we've ever had! Scrumptious.... More

Ok - so, I have a total and absolute addiction to this place. Everyone likes to go here for the "star" sightings, but I could care less than a hoot about a star, simply because the food is just sooooooooooooooooo darn delicious!!!!!! Anytime someone suggests a business luncheon - I suggest Mr. Chow! I remember my first experience at this... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
