We got a last minute reservation for dinner for two and looked forward to a nice Chinese inspired meal. The shrimp dumplings were very ordinary and boring. The diced chicken was also mediocre as was a the steamed bass. Nothing stood out and everything felt prepared a long time in advance and not very fresh. At first we were seated... More

As our server so proudly told us, they've only been in this business for the last 40 years!!! So we decided to do what everybody did until recently, when they didn't even have menus. We said what we like and let them choose for us. And the result was totally worth it: Spicy, interesting, complex, obviously well thought-through dishes at... More

Mr. Chow is a famous restaurant with several different locations. Beverly Hills is my favorite. Anytime i am in Los Angeles I try and have dinner there. I recommend any of the dumplings, spareribs or the squab with lettuce wraps. My favorite dishes are the Green Shrimp or the Drunkin duck. THE SERICE IS EXCELLENT!

This is as good as it gets for Chinese cuisine. Best Beijing duck or whatever else is served. Try letting the waiter serve you from the chefs recommendations. We started our order by listing any particular food category's we didn't want. Next the food just started coming out. The results were a wonderful dining experience. Also, lots of people watching... I've heard of Mr. Chow for many years and finally got a chance to try it on Thanksgiving Eve. We were lucky enough to get one of the separate tables and told the server to just start bringing food and that's exactly what he did. Everything was absolutely delicious! It isn't your typical Chinese cuisine, more like China meets Beverly... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, we were still at the table and we were already texting her thanking for the recommendation. Everything we tried was great. The service was great. We selected the menu with 4 starters and 4 main dishes, all very different and all really good. The restaurant atmosphere is also interesting. It has... More

Most Chinese places in LA serve dishes sunken in oil. Not here! It feels so much better like that, and still full of spices. We shared and tasted so many flavors, everything was really good (duck, my favorite here).

The food here is so yummy! We always have the captain choose our dinner, he asks us a few questions and just gives us the perfect meal! I am so hungry right now just thinking about the dumplings! Can't wait to visit again!

Went here with my kids aand husband and we all loved the food and service. We got VIP treatment plus we got to see a few celebrities but that was just a bonus. It was a great experience.
