Authentic indian food in the heart of Hollywood

Good location, walking distance to the main areas in Beverly Hills. Try sitting on the beds for your meal and try the 'off-the-menu' special chicken in a casserole. Garlic naan and carrot halwa are also spectacular. Overall good value for money all things considered.

Was visiting LA, and was recommended this restaurant for a romantic dinner with my wife. The ambiance blew away all of the other places I've ever visited. The food as well was authentic and nicely prepared. Service was excellent.

This lovely place SWEPT US AWAY with its beauty, charm, elegance, comfort and atmosphere. The food is REALLY REALLY GREAT. Get the CTM - Chicken Tikki Masaka (sp?) - so good. And the Chai (sp?) tea is amazing. Everything is FRESH and delicious. You like romance or tranquil? This is it - we just loved it. We were cared for... More

Best vegetarian meal I have ever tasted in years. Food compared with Maura Sheraton, New Delhi's Bukhara. Dal was amazing, in fact better than Bukhara. Will come again..

Food is great, really great. Better than most Indian restaurants in this part of the city. Staff are hospitable and friendly. This is not a formal sit down place, it's a cocktail, hanging out on the sofa around the bar and the interior water features then heading to a table for dinner. Small courtyard in the front has tables and... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
