The ambiance is lovely and the staff faultless. The meal portions are tiny and the menu has limited options. I would come back again but there is room for improvement.

I always enjoy this Beverly Hills secret spot and usually order the salmon. I learned that salmon is no longer a regular item on the menu, so, a little disappointed, I ordered sea bass, it was cooked perfectly! There was a wonderful kale, onion and tomato salad accompanying the fish. My client had a pasta dish. It must have been... More

There were 10 or 11 of us celebrating our friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. One or two had dined here before and thought it would work. Unfortunately they were wrong, at least for this evening. Let's start with the ambiance- the restaurant is in the Avalon, a boutique Beverly Hills hotel. This space was clearly not originally intended to... More

Chef Mirko is a virtuoso! His dishes are delicious and well presented. Adam (Kaye), the restaurant manager, runs an excellent operation. Our waiter - Jason - deserves top marks for his service and recommendations. The Tagli ere di salumi e formaggi (Italian meats and cheeses) was an antipasto to be relished. The Salmon Scozzese (grilled Scottish salmon) was outstanding as... More

I generally prefer not to eat at restaurants in hotels, but Oliverio is the exception. A huge plus is that valet parking is free - an anomaly in BH. The ambiance is fantastic, you really get a feel for the history of the plan, plus it is fun to drool over the amazing Kelly Wearstler interior and exterior design. We... More

We loved our dinner. We sat outsides which was great as we could hear our dinner companions. I had the dine la menu. My branzino was excellent. My pane cotta was also delicious. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals. Service was also excellent. The chocolate espresso cake also stood out. We will return.

This is one of the only restaurants in a hotel that I have actually preferred to eat in rather than go out. The food is excellent, sweet potato fries like I have never had before and a good selection from appetizers to entrees. It's inside or outside by the pool dining, which also has cozy heated cabana style seating. We... More

When we were in BH this time it was not the best weather and pretty much rained off and on every night. So we found ourselves having dinner there just about every night. We strayed once and ate at a Mexican place down the street from the Avalon. It was horrible. So we just decided it was best to stick... More

Fun place during the day by the poolside, intimate & elegant at night either in the dining room or by the pool. Popular for small group parties.
