Always a treat

My husband and I make a point of eating at Il Cielo every time we visit Los Angeles. It never disappoints. Our server, Antonio, is the best. He is attentive , but does not hover. They understand how to prepare a salad. The Ceasar salad is the best that I have ever eaten. It is Lightly dressed and... read more

This restaurant is a beautiful garden setting with the vibe of ladies lunch and tea. It used to be really good food, not anymore. I went there awhile back, was disappointed but decided why not, I'll try it again. So I did yesterday. Not good at all. Sour tasting boring mozzarella in the buratta salad, wine tasting vinegar or super... More

If dining heaven means being able to converse in a normal tone of voice, Il Cielo is an excellent restaurant choice. Unlike many restaurants, Il Cielo's atmosphere allows for dining comfortably while enjoying one's meal. The Italian menu has something for everyone from the carnivore to the vegetarian. Portion sizes are big enough to share. The service is polite and... More

I was treated to lunch here, so I can't comment too much on pricing. I will say that my lunch of eggplant with homemade fettuccine and cheese was excellent. My companions ordered steak and sea bass and said they were also good. we Shared a salad (italian tricolor) that was great. Service was painfully slow considering the venue was nearly... More

Beautiful setting on patio. Delicious food including a selection of vegan soups. Good service. Quiet enough for a nice conversation. 1 mile (walking distance ) to Rodeo Drive. Very close to Four Seasons Hotel, where taxis are easy to find. I would go back.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. Finally one night my husband and I decided to go with our couple friends. The ambiance is beautiful and can be romantic. It's a great place to have a birthday dinner or even a bridal shower or small cocktail party as they have private rooms for events. The... More

I've driven past Il Cielo for years and finally booked a reservation. Very pleased with what I found. You really cannot go wrong with this spot. Great wine list, great service and great food. Request the patio to take in the full experience.

Generally I like this restaurant, but there are some things that I didn't like. It's not about food, it's more about convenience. Whenever people go to restaurants for dinner or business meeting, they want to spend their time in comfortable place with tasty food; Unfortunately, at this spot they will not find comfort they want. Inside and outside It's very... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
