Went here on a whim with my daughter and her boyfriend as it was within walking distance. If you make reservations for a romantic dinner, ask for the outside area. It is covered, has lots of tiny lights decorating the ceiling-very nice for a date. We sat a beautifully painted room next to the fireplace. The calamari appetizer was perfect! We... More

This place is enchanting, romantic , amazing ambience and the food is superb. The service could not have been better. My boyfriend and I were greeted by Ricardo, we had made reservations for a very busy night which was Christmas Eve. Ricardo was so attentive before he could give us a table out in the patio he gave us a... More

It's not often that a restaurant takes my breath away. Il Cielo did that! The dining area outside was covered with white lights in the trees and chandeliers hanging from above. The service was attentive. Cocktails and wine perfect. The food was wonderful although my bucatini amatriciana was little heavy on the sauce. No room for dessert! I'd love to... More

This restaurant is an institution in Beverly Hills, serving countless of romantic couples, who care as much for the food as for the ambiance. No wonder whyI have gone to quite a few (small) weddings in this place. The food is reliably good, innovative without losing a sense of comfortable familiarity. The gardens seem a replica of Paradise, I would... More

Visited Il Cielo last Wednesday night and I have to say it is one of the most beautiful places to go, especially if you want to impress herself. The restaurant is laid out beautifully with fairy lights running up and around the external seating areas along with candles on every table. It's quiet, intimate and enjoyable. Our waiter was very... A great choice for lunch on the patio sharing experiences and food over wine with a friend. The vegan butternut squash soup was superb. The calamari with an excellent tomato dipping sauce was delicious. And the flattened chicken breast with herbs, arugula, and balsamic dressing was a fine choice. To top it off was the heart-shaped dark chocolate mousse cake... More

So often the restaurants in Beverly Hills all seem the same. Not so with Il Cielo. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel transported into a little back street in Italy. Step off the tree lined street, and you are in a family patio, right off the house. The food is deliciosa. The portions truly ITALIAN in... More

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic dinner here, sitting outside at a lovely table for two. Our waiter was friendly, funny, and attentive. The food was amazing, and the wine list quite accessible. The other patrons were very interesting - some great people watching, and not just what you'd expect in Beverly Hills. We'd definitely come back!

We were a party of three with reservations who were quickly seated in the outdoor patio section which was beautiful. There is nothing like eating outside in Beverly Hills on a beautiful evening. The serice was impeccable. Prompt and courteous. The food was all outstanding. Portions were large and beautifully presented. There is nothing I can say negative about the... More

I had stumbled upon Il Cielo while researching a paper for one of my classes and fell in love with the photographs on the website. On our recent trip to California we made reservations for supper and we were definitely not disappointed. The restaurant was breathtaking, with hundreds of twinkle lights and beautiful chandeliers lighting the patio around us. Our... More
