Love this place.

The restaurant was fully booked but as a guest of the hotel I still got a large table without reservation. Amazing quality food, presentation and service.

I enjoyed dining at The Belvedere. Staff was experienced and capable. Friendly. Dining room is definitely beautiful. I guess maybe I just expected something a little more interesting and out-of-the-ordinary because there are SO few AAA 5-Diamond restaurants... Maybe it sets them up for unrealistic expectations. No complaints, but the menu isn’t very innovative. Preparations were good, but not much... More

"The Living Room" at the Peninsula Hotel has three sittings for Afternoon Tea. For my birthday, my husband took me to the 5pm sitting, when a classical harpist (!) played. The room is beautiful with a garden window. The china and linens pretty. Then arrive a selection of 19 fine teas and a three-tiered tray of morsels pre-selected by the... More

We had dinner at the Belvedere Restaurant which is inside the Peninsula Hotel. It's very elligant and the waiters are all very good at what they do! You feel like royalty while you are dining. The menu is very limited but presentation is beautiful! We would go back just for the great service they give.

Consistently great service. Elegant, if slightly staid, atmosphere. I am drawn to the restaurant as it is just that, a refreshing change from ultra-hip, noisy restaurants. Just what I need for a Sunday brunch! Always love the crispy duck pancakes, the macaroni cheese (try it) is delicious and the food is always good though I thought they were being a... More

At the end of my wonderful dinner at resturant of the Peninsula, the Manager brought to me a lovely clear wrapped bag of Granola tied in a pink bow. So surprised, I asked you serve granola? I was told "yes" we make it. Enjoy…. It was wonderful. Not too sweet like some Granolas can be.Perfect weight. Not heavy on the... More

My Mother and I love going to the Belvedere. The luxury of the elegantly appointed and QUIET room, the large tables spaced well apart, the linen tablecloths and napkins, exquisite china, the gorgeous exotic fresh flowers, lovely windows facing an inner courtyard garden. All of it gets an A+. This tranquil peace is so very welcome when having a meal... More

We were a bit late for our 8:30 reservation, the lovely lady who greeted us was totally understanding. Unusual for those high end restaurants. The food and champagne was absolutely fabulous. The staff was attentive and I felt completely relaxed in this gorgeous restaurant. Totally old school charm….sweet and sexy.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
