The Sunday brunch is a lovely way to enjoy time with friends perhaps before or after shopping at near by Rodeo Drive. The starter range is delightful and the entree range likewise. The service is efficient and unpretentious. The champagne glasses were kept full and the desert range is glorious. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in a beautiful restaurant with... More

Three old friends celebrate friendship and events a few times a year, in this case a birthday. The Belvedere room is very comme il faut and perfect for a special occasion. The food is always excellent and the service perfect. They lived up to their reputation!

It was to be a celeb spot. The dishes are nice, but the celebs left elsewhere and took the buzz with them. It is still a nice (though expensive) place for a special family gathering, but not much fun.

I used to frequent Belvedere in the 90's. My last visit before yesterday (2/22/15) was in 2002. The food used to be great, but now it's just ok. The amuse-bouche was unpalatable. It was a panna cotta, yes panna cotta. Truffle Macaroni and Cheese appetizer was excellent. It consisted of Elbow Macaroni, Black Truffle, Hen of the Woods Mushrooms &... More

Food was good. Service was slow. There was two there people in the entire place. Dessert took 45 minutes. Waiter stood and talked entire time to other table about who knows. Had to cancel dessert because it was so slow. Will not eat here again.

The service was excellent. The food - for a hotel restaurant -was very good. I had lobster for an entree.

The holiday meal at the Belvedere was beautifully presented and delicious. We were guests at the Peninsula, and had a number of meals at the Belvedere - all outstanding.

Dined here for Xmas Dinner and New Year's Day brunch. All was superb from service to menu choices and ambiance. Champagne flowed... Loved every minute of it!

Over the last couple of years we've had many breakfasts, and two dinners at the Belvedere. The dining room is very lovely, if not a little too traditional for my taste. However, the breakfasts are good quality and to be expected for this type of hotel. Our server Mike is absolutely the finest part of the experience. The breakfast menu... More

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
