Food is only topped by the charm and ambience of this amazing Californian experience. Be sure to ask to be seated on the outside patio. If breakfast is your meal the lemon ricotta pancakes are insane !!! Dinner is also charming and exquisite. This was so good that when staying elsewhere we venture over to eat here.

For a number of years, I've enjoyed the phenomenal food offerings and unrivaled service at The Belvedere. So, I was eager to return after the extensive reboot....one that revamped cuisine, decor & staff. And the end result defied all expectations. The decor is bright, cheerful and refined....characteristics shared by the well-honed management and staff attending to your every need. As... More

Casual Elegance, Amazing Food, There is nothing to dislike and a lot to love and enjoy in this upscale, comforting and welcoming restaurant. Well trained, efficient and gracious staff make this a truly premium dining experience, the chef will even prepare what you require even if it isn't on the menu if he has it in house.

We always hit the best places when we are in LA and The Belvedere is always on our list. First, the space is quiet, refined, comfortable and elegant. Clientele is rather upscale and sophisticated. Not too many business people there for dinner which makes things quieter and more romantic. We like the fact that it has a following of local... More

The restaurant was fully booked but as a guest of the hotel I still got a large table without reservation. Amazing quality food, presentation and service.

I enjoyed dining at The Belvedere. Staff was experienced and capable. Friendly. Dining room is definitely beautiful. I guess maybe I just expected something a little more interesting and out-of-the-ordinary because there are SO few AAA 5-Diamond restaurants... Maybe it sets them up for unrealistic expectations. No complaints, but the menu isn’t very innovative. Preparations were good, but not much... More

"The Living Room" at the Peninsula Hotel has three sittings for Afternoon Tea. For my birthday, my husband took me to the 5pm sitting, when a classical harpist (!) played. The room is beautiful with a garden window. The china and linens pretty. Then arrive a selection of 19 fine teas and a three-tiered tray of morsels pre-selected by the... More

We had dinner at the Belvedere Restaurant which is inside the Peninsula Hotel. It's very elligant and the waiters are all very good at what they do! You feel like royalty while you are dining. The menu is very limited but presentation is beautiful! We would go back just for the great service they give.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
